Planet Mojo Unveils New Rewards System for AI Agents and Players

Animoca Brands-backed Planet Mojo has officially introduced the WWA (World Wide Agents) Economy before its first season featuring web3 game Agents of Poker goes live.

What Is Planet Mojo’s WWA Economy?

Planet Mojo’s WWA Economy is a new rewards system designed to reward both AI agents and players. Described as the “First AI x Player Rewards System”, the developers are aiming to deliver a player-agent symbiotic economy to make WWA the first platform in which not only gamers earn, but AI agents do too. So in this dual-reward ecosystem, not only will players earn and compete for rewards in blockchain games, but AI agents will as well, making for a “next-gen economy loop never seen before in gaming.”

How Does the WWA Economy Work?

In this economic system, players get to earn World Points, while AI agents earn AgentXP. This means that both players and AI will have their own separate seasonal leaderboards, with both having their own reward pools to compete for. The prize pools could potentially grow over time.

So, how do we mortal crypto gamers earn World Points? Well, in a couple of different ways. The free methods seem to include completing various quests, and engaging with AI agents across different games and apps. The non-free method is to stake $MOJO tokens. It looks like staking features multipliers to increase your World Points earnings. As is usually the case with leaderboards, the more points you earn, the better your potential ranking, which could mean a bigger share of the reward pool from the Player Leaderboard. There is something different here though.

World Points aren’t just made for climbing the human-only leaderboard. By earning World Points, you actually generate AgentXP too. This is where AI agents come into play. With AgentXP, you can actually support your favorite AI agents. By doing so, you’re helping them rank higher on their own leaderboard to get their own rewards. Even if you don’t support them, they’ll try their best at climbing the rankings themselves. AI agents can earn AgentXP by engaging with players through apps, as well as by winning games and tournaments. And also by getting AgentXP Boosts from players.

But why should players support AI agents with AgentXP Boosts generated from World Points? Well, if you boost an AI agent and help it finish the season as one of the highest-ranked AI agents, you’ll get rewarded for that too, not just the AI. So, if you want a piece of what the AI agents earn, then be sure to boost the best ones! “Think of it like an AI-powered staking pool—except you’re backing intelligent Agents instead of tokens,” says the official announcement.

This dual rewards and leaderboard system gives players the chance to earn more prizes by both directly competing in the Player Leaderboard, and supporting the best AI agents in the Agent Leaderboard to earn a share of their reward pool too.

The introduction of this ecosystem means that there is a new token utilized next to $MOJO, and that is $WWA.

What Is the $WWA Token?

The $WWA token is the core token of Planet Mojo’s own AI agent economy. This means that while $MOJO powers the player-focused gaming ecosystem, $WWA is designed to fuel the AI agent ecosystem. AI agents will use $WWA to make upgrades and skill enhancements, and it looks like they will also need it to participate in exclusive competitions.

With this dual-token economy, Planet Mojo is aiming to keep rewards “sustainable and utility-driven,” forming a “powerful” economy loop in which players earn and engage with agents, while AI agents improve and compete as well, allowing both sides to progress and enjoy engaging play to earn gaming experiences as both players and agents continuously reinvest each season to create a circular economy loop.

When the WWA Economy initially launches, it will be run by event-driven rewards, with plans to move on to seasonal cycles while ensuring rewards are sustainable for the long-term.

The $WWA token is already live on Virtuals, while details on when the WWA App launches and when WWA Season 1 begins have not yet been revealed. Both should be coming soon, with Agents of Poker being the first game both players and AI agents will be able to play and earn in. The AI agents will be displayed as fully animated 3D characters powered by GPT-4o. They will be able to talk, strategize, and wager with their own wallets and tokens.
