Pixiland has launched the early playtest for Patch V2.0.0: The War Begins, giving select users a chance to explore the latest update before it opens to everyone on December 11 at 2 PM UTC. This patch introduces major gameplay changes, new NFT systems, and sets the stage for full PVP.

Limited Playtest Begins Before Public Release

The playtest is currently open to a limited group. If you hold a Genesis Pass, own Frontier Land, or were randomly selected as an active user, you're already in. For everyone else, public access starts this Monday.

Once the beta opens, anyone can explore the new land economy, craft buildings, merge heroes, and get ready for the PVP rollout.

What You Can Do in the New Playtest

The update brings Frontier Land gameplay online. If you own land, other players can now visit your plot, use your buildings to craft or upgrade, and you'll get a fixed tax from their actions. If you're a visitor, you can craft items or level up heroes using someone else's services.

You can also combine 2 heroes of the same rarity or star level to unlock a stronger version. This helps you grow your roster without summoning new ones.

If you're crafting buildings, you can now mint them as NFTs through the dashboard and list them for sale. This adds a tradeable layer to in-game crafting.

Introducing the Pixiland Dashboard

Pixiland has released a new NFT dashboard at dashboard.pixiland.app, giving players better tools to manage assets. From the dashboard, you can:

  • Mint, deposit, and withdraw NFTs (Heroes, Buildings, Accessories)
  • Deposit and withdraw crypto, with RON supported at launch

To use any NFT in the game, including land or buildings, you first need to deposit it through the dashboard. Withdrawals are allowed at any time.

For example, if you've just crafted a building in-game and want to sell it, you'll first need to mint it through the dashboard.

Genesis Pass Holders Get Another Drop

Genesis Pass holders received a fresh wave of rewards during this playtest. A snapshot was taken on December 8 at 10 AM UTC to lock in eligibility. Each pass holder now gets:

  • One random Ultra Rare hero (excluding Jin)
  • 180 Gems
  • 200,000 CROWN

These rare heroes won't appear in the shop, making them only available through this drop.

PVP and More Features Coming Soon

The team is rolling out new features step by step. Once the beta phase wraps, the following updates are expected to go live:

  • PVP Arena
  • Battle Pass
  • PVP League Event
  • Creator Program

You'll need to gather resources and prepare your army before jumping into battles. The gradual rollout is meant to give players time to adjust.

Land Economy Goes Live After Frontier Mint

This patch follows the Frontier Land NFT mint that took place in late November. A total of 4,444 unique plots were sold via Ronin Launchpad, with whitelist minting on November 28 and public sales on November 30.

These plots are now fully usable. If you're a landholder, other players can visit your land and pay a tax to use your services. You also collect fees when players skip wait times or fail to claim stored items.

Each land NFT has a mix of traits that shape how you earn and interact with others:

  • Size: Small or Large
  • Environment: Plain, Fire, or Snow
  • Industry: Farming, Carpentry, Forge, and others
  • Warehouse: With or without storage slots

These traits also give your land different strengths in upcoming PVP modes.

Pixiland NFT Collections See Renewed Activity

After the patch launched, Pixiland NFTs saw a spike in trading on the Ronin Network. All 3 collections are now back in the platform's Top 10 rankings.

  • Pixiland: Building ranks #3 with 12.15K RON in volume
  • Frontier Land sits at #4 with 8.95K RON traded
  • Genesis Pass comes in at #7 with 6.23K RON

This increase shows that more players are engaging with Pixiland's in-game systems and using the dashboard to mint and trade what they've built or earned.

A Look Back at the Genesis Pass

The Genesis Pass, minted in August, was Pixiland's first major NFT collection. Only 999 exist. Owning one gives you early access to new features, special drops, and tools like PixiPlus. Pass holders have continued to get rewards, including exclusive heroes and event perks.

If you already have a pass, you've likely claimed several benefits by now. For anyone who missed it, the Genesis Pass continues to be one of the game's most valuable assets.

How Pixiland Works

Pixiland: Age of Heroes is a pixel-art strategy game on the Ronin Network. You build a village, gather materials like wood and stone, and summon heroes for battle. The game supports browser and Telegram play with synced wallet login.

You can take your heroes into dungeon runs or PVP matches. Winning depends on how well your heroes are upgraded, how your team is built, and how you manage cooldowns.

The in-game token is $wPIXI, which you earn through mining and battles. It will be swapped 1:1 for $PIXI after the token launch. You can spend it during events, crafting, or mini-games.

What Comes Next

Until December 11, access remains limited to select users. Once the public phase begins, anyone can try the new systems, explore the land economy, and mint their creations.

Whether you're merging heroes or testing your land setup, the next phase of Pixiland's beta is just around the corner.
