Blockchain gaming studio Pentagon Games has announced a partnership with Tron DAO to create a 3D digital world on Justin Sun’s Tron network.

What Does Pentagon Games’ Partnership With Tron DAO Bring to Web3?

This partnership will bring to the web3 gaming community a unique on-chain virtual world through which users will be able to build their own metaverse experiences. Users can expect to dive into a social space that is designed to feature the utility of a 3D marketplace and to give users a glimpse into the ecosystem of the well-known blockchain network in a new way. The ecosystem is said to consist of leading KOLs, virtual arenas, digital collectibles, and more.

The CEO of Pentagon Games said the following regarding this announcement:

Users can expect to enjoy a variety of gameplay and social activities in this upcoming immersive world, which is designed using VR, AR, and AI-driven tech. It’s set to be playable across PC, mobile, and VR devices at some point in the future.

Thanks to this partnership, the developers are introducing a 3D Tron Hero Avatar called Novatron, who is said to be the “newest member of the Blockchain SuperheroesTM!” This hero will have their own space for players to explore in Hexagon City, where you can also expect to hop on the “legendary Hero Spaceship”.

The Blockchain Superheroes represents a new collection by Pentagon Games, with Novatron: The Rift’s Echo marking the start of this set of superhero collectibles on the Tron network. This superhero collection has previously been revealed for other blockchains, including Polygon, the BNB Chain, Avalanche, and more.

Novatron is a scientist who turned into a hero due to an otherworldly anomaly that altered his identity, granting him incredible superpowers that can bend reality itself. With these abilities, he works to protect a broken world while trying to figure out his true identity. You can expect to see more superheroes revealed in the future, who will also inhabit the upcoming decentralized world as both sides collaborate to create a big metaverse with gamified elements that will help drive engagement amongst Tron’s developers and the chain's gaming community.
