After being shut down for about 8 months, Pegaxy, a well-known idle horse racing game, is now getting rebooted as a 3D skill-based racing game, starting with the first open alpha test now live for Android devices.
The Pegaxy Open Alpha Test marks the first testing phase open to the public for the game’s much-awaited skill-based horse racing mode. That mode is now in fact the whole game, moving away from the passive browser-based gameplay of before and bringing a new experience where you actually control your horse in Mario Kart-style gameplay.
Developer Mirai Labs Games launched this reboot in open alpha on September 11th for Android devices via the Google Play Store.
The new revamped version of the famous blockchain title can be accessed for free in an open alpha state straight through your Android devices on the Google Play Store. You can login as a guest, with the option to connect your wallet currently not available at the time of writing.
Players can experience real-time PvP horse racing gameplay by taking part in 8-player races on the Pegaxy stadium by controlling your own Pega featuring various skills you can use to your advantage. Assemble a collection of Pegas and take on opposing teams in intense duels. Collect power-ups and loot crates containing items spawning throughout the racetrack to try and sabotage your opponents for a better chance at winning the race. Gain Trophies and other rewards by finishing as one of the top 3 racers while customizing and upgrading your Pega and its skills. Progress through the game to unlock new modes next to arena racing: battle solo arena, battle team arena, and tournament mode.
