Parallel TCG Open Beta Season 3 Is Live With New Expansion: Planetfall

Parallel TCG has been updated with Patch 0.50, introducing Open Beta Season 3 and the new expansion: Planetfall.

Expansion Details

Planetfall is the first major expansion to the sci-fi title, bringing more than 100 new playable cards to the mix, meaning players can now make plenty of new card combos to successfully devise new dangerous strategies to use in outwitting opponents. This is currently a beta release, and as such the developers warn that there could be some bugs or issues that affect the tactical experience, since some cards might not work as they should.

What’s New in Season 3?

Titled The Last Hunt, Season 3 of the open beta version of the game adds in one new playable Kathari Legendary card: Cerulean Hunter Kalare. This card can be found in the new Battle Pass, which brings with it exclusive cosmetics and various rewards. By getting to level 33 of this Battle Pass, you can earn a new Title Achievement: Cerulean Hunter. When it comes to cosmetics, players will have a chance of earning 3 new skins, 1 new card back and 1 card frame.

Patch 0.50

The latest patch brings a host of bug fixes, rule changes and Base Set card changes, while adding new card variants and more. These new card variants include Prime Variants for Comic Art, Capital Ships and Native Language cards. Early game disconnect penalty has been re-enabled and PRIME boosts for companions will be activated during the season, impacting the amount of PRIME you earn for winning a ranked match with a companion.

With this latest build, the team has also added support for the Japanese language, in what they regard as phase 1 of localization. This is because the current localization is limited and usable if you have system language settings in Japanese. The developers will look to expand support to more menus and languages in future updates, with the team encouraging players to provide feedback on this new localization feature.
