Parallel Studios founder Kalos has released a new update on X just before the end of the year, confirming that several major projects will be rolling out in Q1 2026. These include the long-awaited mobile release of Parallel TCG, the official launch of Parallel Colony, and the repositioning of their AI platform, AI Wayfinder. There's also been progress on Sanctuary, their 3rd-person extraction shooter, though that project is now moving in-house and won't be coming out any time soon.
With 2026 now in sight, the update gives a clear picture of what's coming in the next few months, and what the team has been focused on throughout 2025.
Mobile Version of Parallel TCG Arrives in Q1
Parallel TCG will finally be making its way to iOS and Android in Q1 2026. The mobile version of the sci-fi trading card game is being positioned as a full release, not a test build or limited launch. According to Kalos, the game has now reached a level of quality that the studio believes it meets, and in some areas surpasses, the current top games in the mobile TCG.
The mobile version has been in the making along with the PC version, which has been in open beta since early 2024. A regional Android beta was launched in the Philippines earlier this year, but this will be the first time the game is available on mobile globally. Kalos noted that gameplay systems, user experience, and retention tools have all been refined to meet high expectations, and the next step is bringing the game to more players and scaling the ecosystem.
Parallel TCG is free to play and supports both traditional and blockchain gameplay. Anyone can join in and compete in PvP matches without needing a wallet, but players who choose to use NFT versions of their cards and buy the seasonal Battle Pass can play to earn $PRIME tokens through ranked gameplay. These tokens can then be used to purchase cosmetics, card packs, or tournament access.
This past September, the studio released Deception, the game's 3rd expansion set, adding over 90 new cards to the growing pool and giving away half of the Collector Packs to the community for free. Deception followed Aftermath, which launched in November 2024, and Planetfall, the first set released back in October 2023. All 3 sets were introduced during the game's ongoing beta period.
With the mobile launch locked in for Q1, the studio's focus is now turning to marketing and user conversion. Kalos noted that this is a winner-take-most category, where only a few games capture the majority of player attention and spending. The goal is to compete for one of those top spots, not to build for a niche audience. As such, Kalos says the team is ready to scale aggressively once the game is live on mobile.
Parallel Colony Launches in Q1 with AI Features
Parallel Studios also confirmed that Parallel Colony, their second title, is launching in Q1 2026. It's a sci-fi 4X strategy game built around mobile-first design, AI-assisted gameplay, and real-time progression systems. The project has been in the making for over 2 years and recently had its Early Alpha access on Solana Seeker phones back in September.
The game combines familiar strategy mechanics like base building, survival, and crafting with new AI systems built into the gameplay. Players will work alongside an AI companion referred to as an Avatar. This character isn't cosmetic; it acts as a guide, assistant, and interface that players use to progress through the game. Instead of navigating menus or stat-heavy interfaces, players interact directly with the AI to make decisions and manage gameplay through natural conversation.
The update also confirmed a new system that allows players to create items, like weapons and armor, on the fly using AI tools built in partnership with Atlas and Google. These items appear in real-time and can be equipped immediately. Kalos sees this as a step forward in player-driven content, allowing users to express creativity while also boosting gameplay depth and progression options.
Combat is designed around puzzle-style mechanics and short, session-based play, borrowing ideas from mobile lane-runner design. The goal is to keep sessions fast and replayable without losing the complexity expected from 4X games. Kalos says the project has now moved from experimentation into full execution and is ready for a broader rollout in early 2026.
AI Wayfinder Gets Repositioned
AI Wayfinder is Parallel Studios' most experimental project and also one of its most ambitious. It's not a game but a strategy automation platform built around the idea of using AI agents to run autonomous DeFi strategies. Kalos compares it to ETFs or mutual funds, but designed natively for onchain execution.
The system lets users define rules and permissions for trading strategies and then allows autonomous agents to carry them out directly from the user's own wallet. Some of these agents are powered by large language models, but most are focused automations designed for reliability. Performance is transparent and entirely trackable, and users remain in control at all times.
One of the key ideas behind the platform is that successful strategies will naturally attract more capital. That growth in capital improves performance through tighter execution and better data, which in turn attracts more users: a loop that, if it works, could lead to self-sustaining growth. But Kalos made it clear that the platform still carries significant technical risk and is very much in the development phase.
Early test results from the limited cohort have been promising, and a major repositioning of the platform is planned for Q1. This repositioning will make Wayfinder's goals and functionality clearer while setting up the platform for wider rollout later in the year.
Sanctuary Moves In-House
Sanctuary, Parallel's 3rd-person extraction shooter, has also seen some progress. The project had a successful alpha test earlier this year, and the studio has started the process of ending its partnership with the external developer to bring the game fully in-house.
The game doesn't have a release window yet and is now being framed as a longer-term project. Kalos said that while recent releases like Arc Raiders show there's room for more casual takes on extraction shooters, the team needs to refine what makes Sanctuary different. The goal is to figure out the game's unique angle before moving forward with a full-scale launch plan.
2026 Is About Scale
In the final post of the update, Kalos said that the team is now at a point where delivery is no longer the challenge: growth is. Q1 will be focused on launching products and getting them into players' hands. From Q2 onward, the focus will shift to distribution, user growth, and scaling across all active platforms.
Parallel Studios has spent the past few years building up a sci-fi gaming ecosystem that includes a competitive TCG, an AI-driven strategy game, and now an automation platform that reaches beyond games. All of these projects are set to go live or expand within the next few months, and the team believes the quality of the releases will speak for itself once they land.
With Parallel TCG, Parallel Colony, and AI Wayfinder all targeting Q1 releases, the early part of 2026 is shaping up to be the studio's busiest period yet.
