Paradise Tycoon NFTs Now Live on Avalanche

The life simulation onchain game Paradise Tycoon has officially completed its NFT migration to Avalanche. The studio confirmed the move through its official channel, framing the rollout under a clear pitch: one wallet for everything Paradise, with NFTs that actually evolve. The migration brings together the project's asset structure inside a single environment after a period spent split between Avalanche and Immutable, simplifying onboarding and removing the friction that came with bridging between two networks.

The change is more than a chain swap. According to the studio, the move sets up the launch of Evolution 2.0, the next major upgrade to the project's NFT minting system. As part of that rollout, players will eventually be able to burn NFTs into fragments, then merge those fragments into higher-tier assets all the way up to a brand new Mythical class that has never existed in the game until now. The full guide on how the migration works was published in a long-form post on the studio's official Medium.

The studio described the goal in straightforward terms. Migration to Avalanche reduces friction for players, gives the entire ecosystem a single wallet experience, and lays the rails for the Paradise Chain L1 launch that has been on the roadmap since the end of 2025.

How Evolution 2.0 Will Work

Evolution 2.0 introduces a merge mechanic on top of the standard NFT minting system. Under the new rules, players will be able to take existing NFTs and burn them down into fragments. Those fragments can then be combined to mint higher-level NFTs, with progression unlocking access to tiers that did not previously exist in the game.

The studio said the upgrade is designed to drastically increase scarcity for rare NFTs, make progression more meaningful for collectors, and for the first time open the door for Mythical NFTs to enter the game. The new tier sits above the rarity ceilings that have shaped Paradise Tycoon's collections to date, giving long-time holders a reason to consolidate their inventories and chase top-tier assets through play rather than direct purchase.

The merge mechanic plugs directly into a broader package the team has labeled Economy 2.0. That second pillar focuses on creating bigger incentives for MOANI usage, encouraging real demand for the token, and making extraction and botting significantly more difficult. The two upgrades work in tandem. Evolution 2.0 expands what players can own, while Economy 2.0 reshapes how those assets generate and absorb value across the game world.

Inside Paradise Tycoon: A Tropical Life Sim on Avalanche

Paradise Tycoon is a free-to-play life simulation and tycoon-building onchain game developed by Finnish studio Empires Not Vampires. The future of play title is best described as a hybrid between casual life sims such as Animal Crossing and classic tycoon and building games such as The Settlers, presented in polished low poly 3D graphics. The world is a tropical multiplayer island setting where players can gather resources, farm, fish, craft, decorate, and collaborate, all without any combat.

The studio has built an active player base around that vision. Paradise Tycoon has surpassed 1 million total players and maintains around 250,000 monthly active users, making it one of the more populated onchain games on Avalanche. The community runs on social collaboration, a player-driven economy, and recurring community events rather than competitive PvP.

The game's onchain asset structure centers on NFT crew members and land parcels. Crew members develop new skills over time as they participate in island activity, while land rarity directly influences production efficiency, giving players who hold rarer plots a measurable in-game advantage. A Genesis Chests collection launched back in March 2023 sits inside that broader asset library, with 1,821 unique items in circulation across 1,157 unique owners and a current floor price around 0.49 AVAX.

The game economy revolves around the social hub of Port Ohana, the in-game port village where players engage with NPCs, vendors, and service providers. The Auction House handles peer-to-peer trading, the in-game store sells consumables and customization items, and the wider system supports land trading, leasing, and user-generated content monetization.

MOANI, Paradise Chain L1, and the Path Ahead

The MOANI token is the central currency tying it all together. MOANI has a fixed supply of 6 billion tokens, with a Token Generation Event completed on August 25, 2025. The token powers Auction House activity, in-game store purchases, competition entry fees, island trading and leasing, and functional payments for user-generated content. As the studio puts it, MOANI is designed to power anything players create or do inside the game that has value to others.

The next step beyond the Avalanche migration is the launch of Paradise Chain L1, a custom Avalanche Layer 1 built specifically to handle Paradise Tycoon's onchain workload. The L1 is designed to cover peer-to-peer trading, crafting, auction house activity, quest rewards, and user-generated content monetization, all under one unified network. When Paradise Chain L1 goes live, MOANI will handle gas fees on the chain, making the in-game token the native gas asset of the entire ecosystem.

That architecture sits at the heart of the studio's longer-term plan. Paradise Cloud already acts as the hub for ecosystem-wide tools, leaderboards, trading activity, player stats, and event data. With the L1 live, the studio's ambition is to give Paradise its own self-contained gaming network, with the migration to Avalanche serving as the critical step in unifying assets before the chain itself goes live.

The project's Avalanche credentials are well-established. In January 2026, Paradise Tycoon was selected for the fourth Retro9000 cohort run by the Avalanche Foundation, part of a six-project funding round confirmed by a snapshot on January 13. The Foundation distributed more than 160,000 USD across the cohort, with Paradise Tycoon standing out as the gaming entry alongside ChainArq, Orange Web3, The Grotto, FanHub, and TURF Network.

A Cleaner Onboarding Path for New Players

The single biggest practical effect of the migration is the smoother onboarding it creates. By consolidating NFTs onto Avalanche, the project removes the unnecessary hassle that came with running parts of its asset library on Immutable and parts on Avalanche. New players who pick up the future of play title from this point on will only need one wallet, one network, and one familiar flow, which the studio has said is essential for bringing in mainstream gamers used to single-environment experiences.

That fits with how the game has always positioned itself relative to competitors. Paradise Tycoon has consistently aimed to appeal beyond crypto-native audiences, combining standard web2 gaming mechanics with onchain ownership only where it adds value. The token-based economy lowers the barrier to entry for players who want premium content, while the NFT layer gives committed collectors a route to long-term progression.

The studio also opened a Builder Games Program in February 2026, inviting independent developers to apply to build on top of Paradise Tycoon, Paradise Chain, or Paradise Cloud. Approved builders get access to Paradise IP assets, including visuals, items, islands, and NFTs, alongside real onchain data such as trading activity, leaderboards, and player stats. That program expands the project beyond a single title into a broader ecosystem that other teams can build on.

What Comes Next

With NFTs now consolidated on Avalanche, the next major beat is the full launch of Evolution 2.0 with the burn-and-merge mechanic, followed by the introduction of the Mythical class. Beyond that, Economy 2.0 will reshape how MOANI flows through the game, and Paradise Chain L1 will eventually take over as the dedicated network for the entire ecosystem.

For now, the studio's invitation is direct. Players have a unified wallet experience, an active 250,000 monthly active user base to engage with, and the upcoming Evolution 2.0 system to push their collections higher. The migration is live, the chain is set, and Paradise Tycoon's next phase is officially underway.
