Pangu Ecoland NFT Sale for Sandbox

Today, a new Sandbox NFT collection called Pangu Ecoland launches on the Sandbox marketplace These NFTs are usable in the Sandbox metaverse and part of a game about ecology that also features deadly robots! This sale offers 30 NFTs, divided into two camps, nature and robots. Also, anyone who buys one or more of these assets receives additional bonuses and perks depending on their purchase.

The Sandbox is no stranger to partnerships. And they seem to have a new NFT collaboration every few weeks. But this one is a little bit different. With characters based around a story of deforestation and protecting the environment, Pangu Ecoland promises that a portion of the revenues from this sale will be donated towards reforestation efforts. However, they haven't provided any details about where the money will go. Hopefully they are open and transparent about their donations. In the meantime, let's take a look at these NFTs

Pangu Ecoland NFTs

Featuring forest guardians, agave dragons, driller bots, mushroom people, and cacti men, among other characters, the Pangu Ecoland collection offers a variety of NFTs. And though usable in other Sandbox creations, the artists designed these characters for an upcoming adventure called Pangu Ecoland. In it, players defend against robot armies, or Trencher troops, who are intent on deforesting the land. Along the way, players learn a bit about environmental issues as they rescue a damaged ecosystem. The game will be free to play and part of The Sandbox Alpha Season 3, expected to start sometime in July.

The sale is available on the official Sandbox marketplace. All purchases must be made with SAND tokens. Additionally, Pangu is offering several sales incentives. Players who buy any asset are entered into a raffle for a pass to the next Sandbox Alpha release. For a chance to win a Sandbox land, purchase eight Common NFTs. Spend at least 750 SAND and receive a 3D printed figure. There are a number of additional incentives, all the way up to a personal Avatar in Pangu Ecoland for spending 9,999 or more SAND tokens on Pangu Ecoland NFTs!

What is The Sandbox?

Built on the Ethereum blockchain (though in the process of migrating to Polygon), The Sandbox is a collection of gaming and social experiences. The Sandbox consists of plots of varying sizes made of voxel-based blocks. Landowners build and customize their own experiences with block editing, hand-crafted assets, and a built-in scripting language.
