Oxya Origin Announces $OXYZ TGE for December 19th

The developers of blockchain gaming ecosystem Oxya Origins have officially announced that the TGE for $OXYZ has been scheduled for December 19th, 11 AM UTC. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming token before it officially launches.

What Is the $OXYZ Token?

$OXYZ is the core deflationary token of the Oxya ecosystem that comes with a variety of use cases that are designed to reward active players as they enjoy various games across the story-driven universe while the token's utility provides sustainability to both the platform and the cryptocurrency.

As holders utilize various token sinks, spent tokens are sent to the Vault, which is the treasury managed by the OXYA Federation, a DAO whose members will vote to decide how collected tokens are allocated. Whether it will be used for supporting the ecosystem, providing liquidity to a new exchange, or something else, it will all be up to DAO members to figure out by participating in governance. To protect the Vault from any breaches, it looks like 75% of funds will be stored on a “fully auditable wallet with a publicly available address,” and the rest will be distributed across multiple “hidden” wallets that the team can use, according to official documentation.

What Is the Utility of $OXYZ?

With the varied utility of $OXYZ, you will not only be able to trade it on centralized and decentralized exchanges while participating in governance, but you will also unlock a wide range of benefits.

Using this token, users will have the opportunity to buy various new NFT collections , including Avatars, Lands, Skins, and more assets that are usable within the ecosystem. Aside from purchasing new NFTs, you will also be able to spend the token on items at the in-game store. Those looking to buy seasonal Battle Passes, entry to special events, and more, will have to do so using this token, making $OXYZ a key part to unlocking exclusive new in-game content.

Minting crafted assets also involves the usage of the same token, and even if you do choose to pay fees using $OXYAGEM, that earnable currency will still be converted into $OXYZ in the process. Tokens collected from minting fees are burned. You will also be able to spend the token to instantly unlock Battle Pass ranks, as well as speed up the time it takes to upgrade or craft an asset. The ecosystem’s official marketplace will support purchases in $OXYZ, and potentially secondary markets too, with a “small fraction of each sale” distributed back to the Vault.

What Are the Tokenomics of $OXYZ?

$OXYZ has a 1 billion total token supply that is spread across 13 allocations, with no team tokens unlocking at TGE, though 4% of marketing’s 11% total supply looks set to be released on launch day.
