The Enjin-powered open-world role playing game Stormrite will come to PC and Xbox next year. The development team will use Enjin's Jumpnet for their NFTs, which they announced after closing their Kickstarter crowdfunding round earlier this week.
Stormrite will have their character skins as an NFT on Enjin's Jumpnet blockchain. Jumpnet is a high-speed bridge network that allows users to transfer tokens and ERC-1155 tokens free and instantly. Basically it’s a private version of the Ethereum blockchain, that connects to the Ethereum mainnet through bridging technology. Gamers can enjoy free transfers on Jumpnet, but always move value from the sidechain to the main Ethereum blockchain.
Stormrite is a open-world action RPG set in the medieval kingdom of Redreach. Players will take the role of a young squire, who will become a master assassin battling against dark forces. Stormrite will offer lots of depth in its story, which multiple storylines and endings.
The developers plans to release a closed alpha of their game for Kickstarter backers by the end of this year, followed by a public release on Steam in Q1 2022. By the end of next year the team will also have finished the Xbox version of Stormrite.
