Olderfall, a new free to play web3 auto battler on Polygon, has officially launched Season 1. With its arena now open to everyone on browser and Android, you can jump in, collect gear, and enter tournaments. The game runs on a simple loop: train your gladiators, fight through PvP and PvE modes, and earn rewards tied to actual NFTs and crypto.

What Olderfall Is and How It Works

At its core, Olderfall is a tactical battler where you lead warriors known as Fallen through strategic fights. Once you sign up with Gmail at play.olderfall.com, you're given a free Fallen to start with. These characters are generated with their own stats, styles, and battle affinities.

The combat system is an auto-battler based system. That means your main focus isn't controlling actions mid-fight, but planning and building your team beforehand. Each battle uses 10 energy, and you get 100 energy daily, with a new point regenerating every 5 minutes. You can fight in PvP matches or test your builds in rotating PvE towers.

Along the way, you'll gather Vitrium (the main in-game currency) and equip your Fallen with items, weapons, and eventually armor. There's also an upcoming crafting system that lets you merge, enhance, and melt gear through the in-game Forge.

The Battle Pass and What You Can Earn

Season 1 comes with a full 60-day Battle Pass that runs until November 21. You can unlock rewards just by playing, whether through Deathmatches, Battle Towers, or tournaments. Both free and premium tracks are available, and no wallet is needed to start earning.

Here's a taste of what's in the pass:

  • 2x exclusive Moonbeam Fallen
  • 7x booster chests
  • Weapon chests across bronze, iron, silver, and gold rarities
  • The game's very first Armor NFTs
  • Over 130,000 Vitrium
  • Avatar icons and color schemes

Some of the items in the premium track are already seeing demand. According to content creator Sarraf, some weapons in the premium pass can sell for up to $200, and the lowest-priced armor NFTs are now listed at around $57. These can be traded or sold once claimed.

Choose Your Side: Vampires or Elves

Season 1 isn't just about loot. It also includes 2 new NFT collections: the Hollow Court (Vampires) and the Verdant Kin (Elves). Both groups come with exclusive passive skills and lore-inspired traits.

The Hollow Court get a bonus called Bloodlust, which gives +5% damage during nighttime battles. The Verdant Kin have Sunblessed, with the same bonus during the day. This ties directly into the game's new visual day/night cycle, which changes based on the in-game time.

You don't have to pick a side right away. But if you want to try both, you can grab them from the shop and test different builds depending on the time of day.

Olderfall weekly tournaments

Weekly Tournaments With Real USDC Prizes

If you're looking to compete for more than just cosmetics and in-game loot, the N3MUS tournaments might be your path. These are on-chain competitions with weekly USDC prize pools.

There are 2 tournament types running every week through November:

N3MUS Weekly Tournament

  • Runs: Wednesday to Wednesday
  • Prize Pool: $500
  • Top 40 win a share of the pot

Quick Play Tournament

  • Runs: Every Friday at 21:00 UTC
  • Prize Pool: $250
  • Top 20 get paid

To join, head to the Leaderboard tab inside the game and tap Register Now. Then log into n3mus.com with the same Gmail account used for your game login. From there, complete the tournament steps, enter your contact info, and choose Enter Wallet Manually. You'll need to copy your in-game wallet address and paste it into N3MUS to be eligible for prizes.

This month, the 4-week tournament cycle is offering around $3,000 in total rewards.

Battle Tower mode

The Battle Tower Rotation

Olderfall also comes with a PvE system that resets weekly. The Rotating Battle Tower features enemies that scale in difficulty, with new setups and rewards each time. It's your main path to earning Vitrium and extra loot without going head-to-head against others.

This mode is also one of the main sources of Vitrium, following a recent shift in the game's economy. Deathmatches now focus on XP and leaderboard points only, so if you're looking to stock up on Vitrium, the Tower is the place to do it. It also feeds directly into Battle Pass progress, helping you unlock more rewards through regular play.

Flex and Level-Gated Tournaments

Beyond the official N3MUS tournaments, there are also internal Flex Tournaments that reward gear and XP. These don't use real money prizes but do offer a faster way to grow your Fallen and build better setups.

Each tournament is matched to a specific level range:

  • Rookie Arena (Level 10–19): Focuses on XP rewards
  • Gladiator Trials (Level 20): Gives Vitrium and a Weapon Chest to the winner

These are especially useful once you've unlocked your first few upgrades and want to test your builds without jumping into the more competitive N3MUS brackets.

NFTs Beyond Characters

Olderfall doesn't just tokenize your Fallen. Weapons, armor, and even pets can be owned, traded, and upgraded. The crafting system lets you enhance items and build stronger gear over time.

This isn't just about showing off your collection. Because every fight affects your leaderboard rank and tournament rewards, having solid gear can be the difference between a quick loss and a strong finish. Still, you don't need to buy NFTs to compete; everything you need to start is available through daily play.

If you want to speed things up, the shop offers items that can help you progress faster.

Behind the Scenes

Olderfall is built by Anubika, a web3 game studio with over 6 years of experience in digital product development and 3 years focused on blockchain. The team spent two years building Olderfall before launch, choosing to make the game fully playable before introducing any kind of commercial release.

The game will also introduce a token called $AURE in the future. While it's not live yet, it's expected to support tournament entries, crafting features, and other gameplay systems over time.

Don't Miss the Season Deadline
