Planetarium Labs has pushed out the v200130 update for their blockchain idle RPG, Nine Chronicles M.
The latest release comes with changes on both the Odin and the new Heimdall chain that include new rune slots and balancing adjustments to the World Boss.
After just recently adding in new runes to the mobile version, players can now utilize 2 new slots on both chains, unlockable using crystals. The new slots include one skill rune and one stat rune, and they don’t require being opened in a certain order like the previous ones with NCG did. You can choose which one you’d like to unlock first, with the stat rune slot costing 5 million crystals, while the skill rune slot requires 50 million crystals in order to successfully open.
A 2-week World Boss battle awaits players this time around, which is double the length of the previous event. Next to duration, other changes have also been made that make this battle tougher than ever before. The adjustment can be felt after the second wave, after which the World Boss becomes stronger thanks to the new balancing changes, which have also altered the number of rune fragments you can get as a boss kill reward. You can now gain more crystals from killing the boss, as the new update has made boss kill rewards and ranking rewards have 4-10 times more crystals than before.
Adjustments to existing runes, costumes, and equipment crafting blocks have also been made, according to the official post. The team will continue to further take player feedback into account, with one of the upcoming changes planned includes making improvements to the Golden Leaf Rune.
