The Nine Chronicles team has released a new update to the decentralized idle RPG, introducing a new equipment upgrade system that aims to bring some use to the gear that you no longer need to use.
In order to make your dusty useless gear have some relevance again, the developers have relaxed material restrictions, allowing you to use items of the same type as materials without needing them to be the same rarity. They don’t have to have the same enhancement level either, and you can use multiple items at once.
The reworked system makes it so that enhancement level changes now depend on Craft Exp points of the materials that you use for the upgrade, meaning that the “more material item or the higher level item for an upgrade, the higher the enhancement level will get.”
Getting to enhancement level +4 now costs 20 NCG, after which every new level requires an increased number of NCG. As for the number of Blocks needed for enhancement, that stays the same for up +6, and continues to be so even afterwards.
Overall, these new changes should help players put some use to all that piled up gear. You can check out the official update post linked in the tweet down below, with the article containing links to 2 sheets you may want to get acquainted with.
