Neopets Metaverse Litepaper revealed

Based on the classic browser game, the litepaper for the upcoming Neopets Metaverse has been revealed.

The litepaper contains an overview of gameplay, info on tokenomics, NFTs and more.

Players will get to explore the planet of Neopia while taking care of their pets called Neopets. In this sandbox world, players will be able to play mini-games, complete single-player PvE quests, jump into multiplayer PvP battles, meet new friends as well as craft and trade on the marketplace. Aside from feeding Neopets, it'll also be possible to customize their appearance using clothing, accessories and wearables, while interacting with them using items such as toys and books. They can also be leveled up, making them stronger in PvE and PvP battles. Players will also have their own customizable home called the Neohome, where they can place various kinds of decorations, flooring, furniture and wallpaper.

The game will utilize a governance token called NeoPoints Meta ($NPM) which will be used for buying items on the marketplace, but also for exchanging it into the native in-game currency, Codestone Meta ($CSM), which will be used for upgrading NFTs, crafting and buying NFTs and items and more.

There will be various resources for players to gather, which can be used for crafting items and NFTs.

Neopets Metaverse will be launching into a private alpha sometime this month. In order to get on the allowlist as well as have a chance at winning Pizzaroo’s Unique Pizzas NFTs, players are encouraged to "tune into our socials as well as our weekly community events and AMAs!"
