Neopets' Free to Play Sundae Sweep Event is Live with Weekly Prizes

Get ready to win some MATIC in the Sundae Sweep event on Neopets

Neopets Metaverse, a 3D remake of the classic Neopets game, has introduced a free-to-play event – the Ultimate Sundae Sweep – where players can compete for NFT prizes and MATIC tokens. 

The competition will run between March 27th and April 17th. Everyone can play the game for free and be rewarded for reaching the top of the leaderboard. In this game, you will be helping the friendly Kougra and hardworking Bruce to boost their ice cream sales while dodging bombs and obstacles. Those who load the most ice cream into the cart will be crowned as winners. 

To be eligible for rewards, players must enter their email addresses. Every week, the top ten scorers will receive the following prizes: 

• 1st: $100 MATIC.
• 2nd: $60 MATIC.
• 3rd: $40 MATIC.
• 4th – 10th: Neopets Masterpiece Collectibles.

The weekly cut-off time for the competition will be every Sunday at 23:59 on April 2nd, 9th, and 16th. On April 3rd, 10th, and 17th, winners of the Sundae Sweep will receive an email with full instructions on how to claim their prizes. 

The leaderboard will also be updated at 7:00 AM (UTC) daily with the previous day's data, which includes data from 00:00:00 to 23:59:59 of that day. If there are multiple scores from the same user, only the highest value will be selected. If two or more players get the same score, the first to achieve that score will be recorded. 

Based on the classic browser game Neopets, Neopets Metaverse is an iteration of the successful gaming IP in Web3. The play-and-earn title features adorable 3D Neopets with which players can own and interact through PvE and PvP modes. At launch, the game will apply a dual token model, with NeoPoints Meta ($NPM) as the governance token and Codestone Meta ($CSM) as the in-game currency.
