$HOOLI Token Goes Live Today on Solana

My Pet Hooligan launches its native $HOOLI token today, May 15, at 10:00 UTC, with the rabbit-themed franchise calling its community to prepare relevant ETH and SOL wallets. The token generation event marks the studio's transition from its NFT-focused chapter into a wider tokenized brand ecosystem built around the Hooli character and the Hooliland universe.

The franchise confirmed a fixed total supply of 1,000,000,000 $HOOLI, deployed on Solana. AMGI Studios, the California-based animation house behind the IP, has positioned the asset as a brand participation token connecting fans across content, cultural events, gaming activations, and ecosystem-wide initiatives.

Tokenomics Lean Heavily Toward Community

The $HOOLI allocation skews toward player and community rewards, with no allocations carved out for venture capital, key opinion leaders, or foundations. The full distribution is as follows:

Behind the token sits My Pet Hooligan, an Unreal Engine 5 third-person action shooter developed by AMGI Studios. The studio was founded in 2019 by veterans from Pixar, Disney, and Industrial Light and Magic, and now spans real-time animation, gaming, AI agentic commerce, and onchain entertainment.

The setting is Hooliland, a dystopian city locked down by ZuckCorp. Players control rebellious anthropomorphic rabbits, the Hooligans, in their fight against corporate overlord MetaZuckBot. The cast traces back to a genesis NFT collection of 8,888 unique 3D characters on Ethereum, split across seven factions including the Hare Raisers and the Cypherbuns. The franchise's lead character, Hooli, also serves as the face of weekly community content and live animated events.

Gameplay covers several modes that fit the franchise's chaotic tone. Anarchy is a fast-paced free-for-all where the goal is racking up eliminations inside a designated zone. Coinpocalypse is a competitive coin-collecting mode where players steal from each other within a set time. Hang Out is a lower-stakes social space where users can skateboard around the city, explore buildings like the cinema, mall, and bar, or watch community-made content inside the in-game movie theater. The weapon arsenal stretches from carrot daggers to toilet plunger snipers, with a skateboard movement system used for traversal, dodging, and trick-fueled speed boosts.

Recent updates point to an active development cadence. The Fully Loaded update rolled out in August 2025, bringing the new Big Energy Carrot Stadium, improved skateboard physics, smoother combat and movement, and the first version of an expanded faction loop. The roguelite-flavored co-op layer lets squads of up to 4 players clear progressively harder zones, defeat objectives before a timer runs out, and ultimately take on the MetaZuckBot boss fight.

The early access version is currently free to play on the Epic Games Store, and the title is also live on Steam where it has been featured in indie showcases between February 2nd and February 9th. AMGI is currently targeting Q2 2026 for the full game release, with the studio noting it will take as long as needed to deliver a compelling experience.
