My Neighbor Alice, the blockchain-based multiplayer game, is set for a great year in 2025. The newly revealed roadmap outlines major updates aimed at expanding accessibility, improving collaboration, and strengthening the in-game economy. 

WebGPU and Guest Mode

One of the biggest tech upgrades in My Neighbor Alice is the adoption of WebGPU, a solution that improves performance across multiple devices. WebGPU ensures that players can access the game directly from their web browser without the need for additional downloads or high-end hardware, making the game more inclusive than ever.

To further lower entry barriers, the game is introducing Guest Mode, allowing new players to explore the world instantly without requiring a wallet or Web3 knowledge. Users can roam freely, experience the in-game mechanics, and later decide whether to claim a free plot of land or purchase one for a full experience.

Moxie System and Land Sharing

A brand-new progression mechanic, the Moxie System, encourages active gameplay. Players will earn XP and level up skills in farming, fishing, and crafting. By consuming crops and fish, they can maintain their Moxie level, a stat that fuels their in-game activities. Mysterious crops will also be introduced, allowing players to further boost their Moxie capacity through exploration, trading, and interactions with other players.

Another key feature rolling out in 2025 is Land Sharing, which enables players to invite friends to collaborate on their land plots. Landowners can allow others to gather materials, build structures, or manage resources together. Owners retain full control over their land, including the option to set sharing fees. This update promotes a stronger sense of community and teamwork within the game.

New Region, Land Sales, and NFT Interoperability

The My Neighbor Alice universe is growing with a new region, offering both new and veteran players fresh opportunities to establish themselves. The Land Sale system is also evolving, introducing a trial feature that allows players to experience land ownership before making a purchase.

Additionally, My Neighbor Alice is integrating a flagship NFT partnership that will bring cross-platform collectibles into the game. This partnership will introduce unique NFT companions that follow players around the world.

To provide more utility for in-game tokens, My Neighbor Alice is launching a Liquidity Pool, allowing players to trade in-game tokens for $ALICE, the game’s native cryptocurrency. 

To keep the player base engaged, the game is expanding its Rewards Platform, which will feature airdrops, interactive quests, and competitive leaderboards.
