In celebration of the game’s launch, MonkeyLeague developer UnCaged Studios has announced the Community MonkeyChallenge Competition for their turn-based blockchain soccer title.

The 14-day event started today, April 3rd, and will end on April 17th. During this time, players will have a chance of earning $MBS tokens from a Community Pot that starts at $1k worth of $MBS, and could increase all the way up to $10k in $MBS alongside individual prizes. According to the announcement, all the rewards from the pot will be given to level 2 MonkeyPioneers who are registered, verified and own at least 1 MonkeyAthlete NFT and MBS in their wallet.

Those who choose to participate in this event can earn $50 in $MBS whenever they score a goal, simultaneously leading to $200 worth of MBS tokens getting added to the reward pool. Winning a match is rewarded with $100 worth of $MBS, while getting a hat trick in one match awards you with $500 instead of $50 in $MBS. According to the official article, the studio will place in $1000 in $MBS at 10, 20 and 30 cumulative goals scored.
