Baobab Studios has announced the introduction of leaderboards to Momoguro: Legends of Uno, a storytelling NFT RPG.
With the new feature, players are now encouraged to compete against each other across 4 different categories, with each displaying the top 20 players. The categories include the following: Most Quests Completed, Most Momos Hatched, Most Legendaries Found, and Retirement Gold Earned. The names are fairly self-explanatory: the first category shows which players have completed the highest amount of quests. This includes story quests from the 4 acts, as well as bounty quests. The Most Momos Hatched category shows the players who have summoned the largest number of Momos by hatching Geodes of any kind, meaning you can up your ranking using both Basic and Hero Geodes. The third category is all about collecting rare, legendary Momos from Geodes, and the last category is about having the highest amount of retirement gold, which you earn by retiring Momos. By doing that, you’re burning them forever, receiving retirement Momogold in the process.
By adding in these varied categories, each player has a chance of competing for the top 20 spots in at least one of these sections over the course of 2 weeks, as the leaderboard stats reset every 2 weeks. Based on the official announcement post here, no rewards seem to be mentioned for ranking in the top 20 of any category. Regardless, it is certainly a neat addition for those looking for a competitive edge to this blockchain title that can be played on browsers using a Holoself digital collectible available on OpenSea, Rarible, and Blur.
