Moca Network has officially launched the beta version of MocaProof, a gamified identity system built to verify digital credentials across web3 platforms. This release follows Moca Network's previous hackathon event in September and marks a key moment in its larger mission to build a global identity ecosystem on the blockchain.
The MocaProof beta is now live on the Moca Chain Testnet. A full launch on the Moca Chain Mainnet is set for 2026. With this launch, users can now start creating their own onchain profiles using secure verification tools powered by zero-knowledge proof (zkProof) technology.

MocaProof Brings a Visual Identity Layer to Web3
MocaProof allows users to build a digital profile based on verified credentials. The core idea is to let people show what they've done across different platforms, without giving up their personal data. Instead of showing raw info, MocaProof uses zkProofs, which can confirm facts about someone (like participation or qualifications) without exposing private details.
Users interact with MocaProof through a visual identity system centered around a character called Mocat. This digital companion evolves as more credentials are verified. Each trait and expression reflects specific achievements in categories like Loyalty, Influence, Finance, and Activeness. As users collect more verified proofs, their Mocat grows and gains new traits, which may lead to rare versions that can unlock rewards.

How MocaProof Works: Credential Verification and Mocat Growth
Once logged into MocaProof, users can explore the Credential Proofs marketplace. This is a central hub where users select and complete different verifications. Each one becomes a "proof" that is added to their Mocat profile. Current examples of available proofs include Watch Hours from ANIME ID, Smart Money insights from Nansen, and Reputation Score from Ethos.
Other credentials include Proof of Personhood by zkProof, Staking Tier by Mocaverse, and Wallet Labels by Addressable. Each of these verification badges is tied to a real partner and uses zkProofs to keep the data secure.
As users verify more credentials, they not only shape the appearance of their Mocat but also gain points across the 4 main identity traits: Loyalty, Influence, Finance, and Activeness. This results in a total score and rarity level shown on the user's MocaProof identity card.
Privacy-First Design with zkProofs and AIR Kit
MocaProof is part of the broader Moca Network and is fully integrated with AIR Kit, a developer toolkit, and Moca Chain, a blockchain layer built for identity systems. Together, they form the structure that allows MocaProof to support verifiable, reusable, and secure identity data.
Rather than storing information in one place, the platform uses decentralized storage and zero-knowledge proofs. This lets users verify their actions or ownership of data without revealing any private info. It's also built to be used across platforms, meaning the same proofs could work in other supported apps that connect to Moca Chain.
The platform supports single sign-on and lets users log in to services or access content using their Mocat-linked identity, without needing to re-enter their data on every new platform.
Rewards for Verified Users: MOCA Coin, Airdrops, and AIR SP
Along with the beta release, MocaProof is launching an early reward system. Users who complete credential verifications can earn several types of rewards. These include MOCA Coin, the network's utility and governance token, and AIR SP, loyalty points tied to Moca Network's AIR Shop.
Some partner token airdrops are also set to be part of the reward pool. As users increase their Mocat rarity, more reward types become accessible, making the verification process more valuable over time.
A month-long launch campaign is now underway. This campaign focuses on NFT-related credentials and includes a community competition. The reward pool for this event is worth around US$50,000.
Built on Moca Chain Testnet, Mainnet Launch in 2026
For now, MocaProof is available on the Moca Chain Testnet, which allows the team to gather user feedback and test features in a controlled environment. The full Mainnet launch is scheduled for 2026, when the identity and reward system will become more widely accessible.
This Testnet release follows other key developments for Moca Network this year, including the Proof of Build Hackathon in September and the launch of MocaPortfolio, a token allocation platform tied to MOCA Coin and Mocaverse NFTs.
Kenneth Shek: Building Identity and Reputation in Web3
Speaking about the MocaProof launch, Kenneth Shek, project lead at Moca Network, said the platform marks a big step forward in how identity is handled in web3.
"MocaProof establishes a foundation for verifiable, privacy-preserving digital identity, allowing users and enterprises to participate in credential-based ecosystems without compromising data ownership or compliance standards. MocaProof is where identity is created and reputation is accrued, enabling composable reward distribution through verified credentials."
His statement points to MocaProof's dual purpose: not just letting users show who they are, but helping web3 projects reward those identities with meaningful value.
From Hackathons to Product Launches: Moca Network's Busy Year
The beta launch of MocaProof builds on months of activity from Moca Network. In September, the team hosted the Proof of Build Hackathon, a 10-day global event that invited developers to create real products using Moca Chain and AIR Kit. The event led into Token2049 in Singapore, where teams showcased what they built.
That hackathon focused on solving issues with digital identity, specifically how users can control their own data without relying on centralized systems. Projects that came out of the event used Moca's Open Identity Stack to test these ideas in real products.
Earlier, Moca Network has also launched MocaPortfolio, a new platform that lets MOCA Coin holders and Mocaverse NFT owners access ongoing token drops from Animoca Brands' network of partners. This new tool fits within the same identity and reward framework that MocaProof now builds upon.
Looking Ahead to the Moca Chain Mainnet
The full release of MocaProof on Moca Chain Mainnet is expected sometime in 2026. By then, the team plans to expand its features and connect with more web3 projects and communities. Verified credentials will be the link between users and ecosystems, forming the base for digital trust, reputation, and rewards.
With its beta now open to users, MocaProof is giving web3 users a first look at how onchain identity might work in everyday apps, games, and communities. Every credential verified brings a Mocat to life, and every Mocat unlocks a little more of the user's onchain story.
