Mirror World, a leading Web3 developer, has launched the first gaming rollup chain on Solana. This exciting launch features Sonic, a Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) compute engine. Through its software development kit (SDK), Sonic empowers game builders to facilitate in-app transactions and deploy their preferred game engines.
At the heart of Sonic's technology is HyperGrid, a core component designed by Mirror World. This feature allows gaming platforms to build their own on-ramp and cross-chain DEX aggregators. The Mirror World SDK has been implemented into 50 game clients as initial distribution nodes. Games like Mahjong Meta, Matr1x Fire, and Seraph/ActozSoft have raised over $30 million and received over 200,000 traffic and transaction engagements. According to Mirror World, Sonic's platform provides a robust payment and settlement infrastructure, as well as user engagement tools.
Chris Zhu, CEO of Mirror World, noted the company's extensive collaboration. "Sonic's vision is to expand the existing Solana Gaming Ecosystem and process millions of requests per second per game and settle them back onto Solana L1," said Zhu. Mirror World also offers the Smart Marketplace SDK, a tool that allows builders to easily integrate an NFT marketplace into their dApps.
Solana emerged as a leading blockchain platform and saw an 824% boost in market cap over the past year. Its recent achievement of $5 billion in NFT sales highlights its growing appeal in the world of digital assets. Mirror World's first gaming rollup chain on Solana marks a huge step forward, offering builders and gamers a more efficient Web3 experience.
