Mirandus by Gala Games Partners with Brave

Gala Games has partnered with Brave Browser for the promotion of the upcoming online role playing game Mirandus. Not only can gamers buy NFTs using Brave's native token BAT, the browser company is also selling one hundred physical collectibles with a digital assets from the game attached to it.

Inside the Brave Swag Store users can find the Brave X Gala Games: Mirandus Minotaur King Crystal. This is an engraved collectible, and on the collectible they will engrave a code to redeem a piece of land for inside Mirandus. The physical product costs 250 dollars and comes with the deeds to a Homestead. These deeds normally cost $100 and are the cheapest land deeds available.

Alongside the partnership with Brave, Gala Games has also launched the sale for shops and other buildings. All deeds for shops are 25 percent cheaper when gamers buy them using BAT. However, this discount is only available for a limited time.

Deeds give players the rights to open a small town, village or even something smaller like an outpost. However, each of these locations have a certain layout. Players can add a tavern, barn, grand stand, forge, large forge or even grand forge to their location if they own the deeds to those. In addition they are also free to rent out the spot to other adventurers who have the deeds to open a shop.

Only 1625 player-owned locations

In Mirandus players own deeds for certain buildings. In total there are 1625 deeds to be bought, and the homestead is the cheapest one. A homestead costs $100, and prices go up from there. The more expensive and rare the deeds are, the more features the village will offer to players. There will be a maximum of one thousand homesteads, which are sold for one hundred dollars each. Outposts cost 500 dollars, and there will be only 200 of those. In addition there are hamlets, and there are different types of village with 20 deeds each. The supply of towns is even more limited, ranging from 5 to 15 deeds. The pricing ranges from 50 to 150 thousand dollars. In total there will be five citadels, which will cost half a million dollars each. These citadels really rule over the land.

Owning land means making money

Having a keep or some other base close to a dungeon entrance, will provide all kinds of opportunities for trade. Players can buy land tiles with certain functionalities and drop these anywhere in the game world. Other players could open a shop in that village, and pay rent to the mayor. All ownership over digital assets inside Mirandus is stored on the Gala blockchain.

When Mirandus launches there will be five citadels. These give the owner the right to create and lead their own faction, charge taxes on trade and so on. Owning a piece of land provides a safe haven for other players, and potentially a way to make money. Together with the developers the owners of these citadels can design their own layout for their city.

Players who’ve been playing Townstar, have possibly already earned some GALA. In Townstar players for example need to raise crops, harvest them, and then create products. Gamers can sell these in turn for profit, which they can then invest in a better farm. This farm could eventually become a small town. Play well enough, and you will earn GALA in the weekly competitions. They can use these GALA tokens to acquire assets inside Mirandus. In October Gala Games broke the news that gamers can spend GALA tokens inside the trading card game Splinterlands.
