Mines of Dalarnia has released the details of the Terraformed Economy update. The updated version of this game consists of equal lands ownership, land upgrade, new capsules, and so much more.
Due to the update, the depth information in Mines of Dalarnia land metadata was replaced by a new “rank” field. This change was to ensure that all landowners have equal opportunities. However, the gains of these landowners depend solely on how well they utilize their lands. This is in a bid to create a fair and equitable environment for all players, thereby eliminating all disadvantages based on land ownership.
The team has also promised to introduce new capsules in this update. Each capsule will contain up to 2 resources and grant players a quota of 50 digs per refill. Unlike the previous capsule used prior to the Terraformed Economy update, a new capsule does not add to the existing digs of a replenished land. Still, it sets the digs to 50, thereby providing a cheaper means for both gas fees and resources. Additionally, the team is working on the implementation of a land upgrade by players. However, lands that have been previously upgraded with the aid of injectors remain upgraded.
Due to the tedious and time consuming process of manually finding a dedicated land, a navigator interface has been introduced into the system. The MoD Map Navigator interface offers a filtering system that simplifies the process of obtaining dedicated lands.
Players can click on the ‘Plot Search’ option in the Map Navigator to access a wide range of filters designed to refine their land search. These filters can help narrow down options based on various criteria such as aspects, power level, depths, rent and resources. Interested players can then select the filter that aligns with their preferences and the game presents a list of lands to match such preferences.
