After last month’s early access playtest, the developers of Mighty Action Heroes have announced an April playable weekend set to take place on April 28th to April 30th, with the upcoming build set to include various new updates for players to enjoy.

The upcoming new early access build will include new heroes, new hero abilities, a better 3D game lobby featuring detailed character info and the ability to select the character you want to play; new effects, and balancing changes to character stats, abilities and grenades.

The new heroes you’ll be able to play as are called Detective Danger, Venom Valdez and Boss Bao, with the names of the first and third character picked by the game’s holder community. This means that the upcoming playable weekend will not feature 5, but a total of 8 heroes, with the update post revealing that you’ll have the option to play with whichever one that you want.

Next to introducing new heroes and character selection, the team has also assigned classes to each hero, with every class featuring its own special ability. 4 classes have been introduced: Tank, Fighter, Speedster and Balanced. With the current hero roster, there are 2 characters assigned to each class, and the abilities included are Charge, Flying Kick, Dash and Dodge Roll respectively.
