MetaMask Integrates HyperPlay to Launch Blockchain Games

MetaMask, the leading crypto wallet, has introduced a new feature allowing users to launch Web3 games from MetaMask Portfolio. This is done through a partnership with HyperPlay, a digital game store and launcher focusing on blockchain games.

New Games Directory

The integration with HyperPlay brings a dedicated games directory to the MetaMask Portfolio. This dApp allows users to manage their assets and interact with other apps within the same interface. Now, you can easily find and play MetaMask-supported blockchain games.

HyperPlay has previously worked with MetaMask, offering a wallet overlay and support for non-Ethereum blockchains like Solana and Sui via MetaMask Snaps. This new development builds on that relationship, enhancing the Web3 gaming experience.

To use this new feature, users can follow these steps:

1. Open MetaMask Portfolio.
2. Navigate to the Games tab.
3. Browse the available games.
4. Download HyperPlay and start playing.

The platform's in-game overlay allows users to carry their MetaMask wallet into every game.
