MetalCore Kicks Off Week-Long Playtest

The MetalCore team has officially started a week-long playtest for their mech-based 1st/3rd person PvPvE shooter.

Playtest Details

The latest playtest to this action-packed sci-fi title started on October 6th at 6 PM PT and will end on October 13th at 9 PM PT. During that time period, it seems that the servers will be live at all times, allowing you to enjoy PvE gameplay, with designated battle times set up for PvP. This playtest is said to bring significant improvements to missions, looting, and crafting. For most of the playtest, you’ll be unlocking all sorts of content through PvE in an effort to gear up for the big PvP battles scheduled at specific times in the final 2 days of the playtest. 

As you play you’ll get to earn XP which will give you an opportunity to enter 4 different giveaways where you can win varied vehicles. To enter all of them, you’ll have to accrue 50k XP. If you get at least 5000 XP, you’ll be awarded with a free guaranteed gift called the Hader Tank, with all prizes set to be given nearer the start of the Open Beta, for which you can still pre-register. By pre-registering, you also get access to an exclusive free vehicle.

How To Participate

In order to gain access to this playtest, you need to pre-register for the open beta version on the game’s official website. If you’ve already done this, you should have received an email giving you a code you can redeem through the Epic Games Store, as the team tweeted on October 4th that they’ve sent a lot of codes to emails on the pre-registration list. If you haven’t, then be sure to pre-register through the game’s official website, as well as open a support ticket in the game’s official Discord server for a potential chance of getting a game code to enjoy this week-long playtest of MetalCore, whose team has partnered with Immutable last month for integration of zkEVM technology.
