MegaWorld Launches Express Delivery in Closed Alpha

The MegaWorld team has officially launched Express Delivery, a new game mode, in closed alpha for NFT holders.

What is MegaWorld Express Delivery?

Express Delivery is a new game mode for MegaWorld, one of the oldest Web3 strategy games with an on-chain multiverse around. In this game mode, which will be free-to-play in the future, you get to explore cities and take on delivery orders in order to earn rewards in the form of the MEGA token. Players who own certain buildings can set up delivery orders that other players can take, with the building owner setting the amount of MEGA tokens they would like to pay out for successful completion of the order. By having orders completed, the production bonus of the building can be boosted to up to 75%. In the future, players who complete orders faster will be able to earn more rewards. 

The closed alpha version launched on September 21 and comes with 3 3D cities in which you can do deliveries in third-person view.

How to Access Express Delivery Closed Alpha

In order to take part in this early version of the new game mode, you’ll have to head to the game’s official website where you’ll be able to link your crypto wallet with your profile. If you have an Alpha Ticket in the wallet, you should be good to go. Alpha Tickets are given out to everyone who owns a MegaWorld asset. By having access to the closed alpha, you can actually invite 10 other players to try it out as well, giving more users an opportunity to experience the new game mode. In the future, based on the official documentation page, Express Delivery will be a free-to-play mode that will be accessible without needing to have a Web3 wallet.
