What Gameplay Updates Are Included in MATR1X Fire Season 3: Thunder’s Awakening?
This season comes with various gameplay updates and improvements to upgrade the blockchain gaming experience and make the core loop feel more satisfying than before. These gameplay updates include a full weapon handling overhaul, match mode unlock rebalancing, matchmaking optimizations, and more.
The complete revamp of weapon handling now means that players have more deeper gun control over their arsenal and that aim assist has been reduced to add more realism, while recoil and shooting is now said to feel more satisfying than before. The way game modes now unlock has been rebalanced, so if you want to play matches in Ranked Mode, that now unlocks at level 7, while Casual Match (Hardpoint) and FFA (Deathmatch) both unlock at level 6. Matchmaking should now be quicker than before, and a new store shortcut can now be found in the lobby screen for faster access to gear and cosmetics.
The trading system rules have also been updated for this season and possibly onwards. Now, when players earn a new item, the newly acquired asset will be locked from trading and transferring for a certain period of time, after which it can be normally traded.
The Post-Match Summary UI has also been upgraded to showcase real-time progress of Newbie Pass and S3 Battle Pass missions and growth.
