MagicCraft has launched MCRTPay. The web3 gaming studio unveiled the tool as a way for websites and apps to accept its MCRT token with on-chain verification, framing it as a step toward making the token usable inside real products. The pitch is direct: utility becomes real when it works inside products, and MCRTPay turns MCRT into a usable payment rail.

The tool is aimed at merchants and developers who want to take MCRT as payment without the overhead of a traditional processor. Integration runs through the dedicated MCRTPay site, positioning the widget as a self-serve product rather than a closed in-house feature.

How MCRTPay works

MCRTPay is a drop-in payment widget that any website can embed. It fetches the live MCRT price and displays the exact token amount equivalent to a listed USD price, so merchants can set prices in dollars while accepting payment in MCRT. A customer then scans an auto-generated QR code or copies the wallet address and sends MCRT on BNB Chain from Trust Wallet, MetaMask, or any BEP-20 compatible wallet.

The verification is the core feature. Rather than trusting that a user paid, the widget confirms the transfer event on-chain through a blockchain explorer's API, so the blockchain itself validates the payment. Funds go straight to the merchant's own wallet, with no payment processor account, no KYC, and no withdrawal delays. The tool is free and open source, offered as a vanilla JavaScript widget for any HTML page plus full TypeScript libraries for frameworks like Next.js, React, and Node. Crucially, merchants can run it on their own server and point the widget at their own API, removing any dependency on MCRTPay's infrastructure for verification.

Why it matters for MCRT

The launch reflects a broader industry push to give gaming tokens utility beyond speculation. By making MCRT spendable across third-party websites and apps, MagicCraft extends the token's reach past its own game and marketplace. Every integration becomes a new place MCRT can be used, which is the kind of real-world usage that supports demand for a token rather than relying on trading alone.

The self-hosted, open-source design also lowers the barrier for adoption. Small sites, indie developers, and communities can accept MCRT without signing up for a payment provider or clearing compliance hurdles, and the direct-to-wallet settlement means merchants keep full custody of what they receive. It mirrors moves by other gaming projects that have wired their tokens into payment gateways to build practical use cases.

Inside MagicCraft

MagicCraft is a live web3 gaming and AI ecosystem built around player-versus-player competition. Its flagship is a massive multiplayer MOBA fantasy game where players battle in real-time arenas, playable across PC, iOS, Android, and Steam. The studio has expanded it into a broader ecosystem featuring NFT-linked playable characters, rarity-based skins, a marketplace, and creator tools, all tied together by the MCRT token.

The competitive core runs on a lobby system with real stakes. Free Lobbies require no entry fee and pay a fixed reward of 25 MCRT, while VIP Lobbies demand players hold a minimum of 100,000 MCRT and a Genesis NFT to join, offering significantly larger reward pools at set times throughout the day. Secondary Currency Lobbies go further, awarding rewards in other assets like BTC, ETH, SOL, and XRP, and requiring a minimum of 50,000 MCRT and three Revelation NFTs to enter. That structure ties NFT ownership and token holdings directly to earning potential.

The ecosystem has grown beyond the game itself. Alongside MCRTPay, MagicCraft has been building out products including MagicAds and a range of AI tools and creator features, positioning itself as a wider web3 and AI platform rather than a single title. NFT-linked characters and tradable skins give players ownership of in-game assets that carry value across the marketplace.

The MCRT token

MCRT is the native token of MagicCraft, a BEP-20 asset on BNB Chain with its contract verified on the network's block explorer. It powers PvP lobbies, NFT purchases, marketplace activity, and now MCRTPay checkout, serving as the connective tissue across the ecosystem. Players can buy MCRT directly through a Chainlink-powered widget on the MagicCraft website that lets them swap any valid token for MCRT, or acquire it on partnered exchanges like Bitget, paying a small BNB gas fee for on-chain transactions.

The token trades at a very low unit price, reported around a fraction of a cent, with an on-chain market capitalization in the low tens of thousands of dollars on some chains, reflecting the thin liquidity common to smaller gaming tokens. MagicCraft previously deprecated its Ethereum version of the token in favor of the BNB Chain contract, consolidating MCRT onto a single network. That focus on BNB Chain is why MCRTPay is built specifically around BEP-20 wallets and BNB Chain transfers.

Building usable utility

MCRTPay fits a clear strategy of turning MCRT into something people actually use rather than just hold. By handing developers a free, verifiable, self-hostable way to accept the token, MagicCraft is betting that practical payment utility will strengthen the token's role across and beyond its own products. The on-chain verification removes the trust problem that usually complicates crypto payments, while direct wallet settlement keeps the process simple for merchants.

For the wider ecosystem, the tool extends MCRT's footprint from a gaming currency into a general-purpose payment option. Combined with the studio's push into AI tools, creator features, and advertising, MCRTPay signals MagicCraft's ambition to build an interconnected economy where its token works across many products. Developers interested in accepting MCRT can integrate the widget now through the MCRTPay website.
