The Sandbox, a virtual world where players can build, own, and monetize their gaming experiences, has announced an exciting contest for voxel artists. The Lotte World VoxEdit Contest invites artists to bring Lotte World’s beloved mascot, Lotty, to life in their unique style. Given that, the contest is an opportunity for artists to showcase their imagination and design prowess by creating their own Lotty character in voxel form.
The contest offers substantial rewards, with 15,000 SAND to be split amongst the top entries. The first three places will also receive a Lotty Knight NFT. In addition, the top 10 winners will have their work showcased in the NFT Gallery inside the Lotte World experience.
To participate, artists need to create a GIF of their fully animated asset and tweet it, mentioning @VoxEdit and @TheSandboxGame on Twitter. They also need to include the #VoxEditWeekly hashtags in their tweet. The final step is to fill out a Google Form provided by the organizers.
Furthermore, the contest has specific guidelines to ensure the quality and originality of the entries. Low-quality or spam entries will be disqualified, as will entries that attempt to claim other people's creations. The contest also emphasizes family-friendly content, disqualifying entries with inappropriate references.
The assets will be judged based on creativity, usability, optimization, level of detail, and quality of animation. The contest opened for submissions on July 20th and will close on August 3rd. The results will be announced between August 18th and August 26th.
The Lotte World VoxEdit Contest is a unique opportunity for artists to showcase their creativity and design skills, and to be a part of Lotte World’s magic like never before
