The Lotte Caliverse is not your average metaverse. Built with Epic Games' Unreal Engine 5, it features a high-tech 3D virtual world combining shopping, gaming, and entertainment. Here's what sets it apart:

At CES 2025, Lotte also wowed attendees with cutting-edge features of the Caliverse:

• Glasses-Free 3D App: Users can view immersive visuals without wearing any additional hardware.
• Real-Time AI Technology: New gameplay mechanics, including a 3D Chroma Key, make the experience even more lifelike.

The app's launch, along with a 3D film experience, is scheduled for mid-2025.

The Arbitrum network has seen remarkable growth, especially in the gaming sector. Notably, 119 game titles and 23 Orbit chains joined in 2024, marking a 72% year-on-year expansion. Lotte Caliverse is set to benefit from these network effects.

This move comes as Lotte looks to reimagine how users interact with entertainment and retail. With over 90 businesses in sectors like hotels, food, and finance, Caliverse will showcase its subsidiaries, such as Lotte Duty-Free, Lotte HiMart, and Lotte Cinema.

The platform even has a backstory. Users will begin their journey on New Earth, a planet rich with a resource called Calium. This drives innovation in the Caliverse as players build cities, explore uncharted lands, and shape civilizations.
