Loaded Lions: Mane City is now on mobile. The Cronos-powered tycoon game went live on both the Apple App Store and Google Play, letting players build and run their cities straight from a phone for the first time. The team noted that the full rollout across all regions may take a few hours, so players who do not see it yet are told to check back shortly.

The move is a big step for the title. Until now, the city-builder was playable only through a desktop web browser, which limited when and where fans could tend to their cities. Mobile pre-registration opened on both stores about two weeks ago, and the full launch delivers on a plan the studio had targeted for the first half of 2026. The mobile build keeps all the key gameplay features from the desktop version, so progress and mechanics carry over rather than starting fresh.

No crypto or NFT required to play

One of the game's core pitches is accessibility. Loaded Lions: Mane City is free to play and open to everyone, with no cryptocurrency or NFT needed to jump in. That keeps the barrier low for mainstream players trying a web3 title for the first time.

Holders of supported collections still get a head start. Seven Crypto.com collections are integrated, including Crypto.com Land, Loaded Lions, Dark Lions, Cyber Cubs, and two Expedition Gear sets. Each carries its own perk, from boosting Gold or Diamond generation to strengthening Abilities. A Loaded Lions NFT, for example, adds a 10 percent gold boost, while holding extra land NFTs unlocks more business sites. Those land bonuses come with diminishing returns for each additional plot, a deliberate design choice to keep the game competitive rather than pay-to-win.

Inside Loaded Lions: Mane City

For anyone new to it, Loaded Lions: Mane City is a tycoon-style strategy game built on Cronos and developed by Crypto.com. Each player takes the role of an entrepreneur building a dream city and mansion from a single plot of land. The onchain title blends the slow-burn satisfaction of an idle builder with the sharper edge of competitive ranking, drawing comparisons to classic management sims.

The core loop starts small. A plot of land passively generates one resource while businesses placed on it produce another, and players decide where to position those businesses for the best output. The two main in-game currencies are Diamonds and Cash, both needed to upgrade businesses like the Flavour Town Diner and Mane Motors. Cash also buys furniture and decorations for the mansion, while Diamonds unlock new rooms and Cash Boosters that raise generation rates. Personalizing the mansion feeds back into progression, since decorating levels up a player's character and unlocks new blueprints for more businesses.

The game is not purely peaceful building. An Abilities system adds a player-versus-player layer, letting tycoons launch Attacks against rivals and deploy Defences to protect their own cities. A successful attack can even siphon a portion of an opponent's bonus for its duration, which speeds up a player's climb through the ranks. Daily logins and a Daily Roar spin system round out the rewards, handing out Cash, Diamonds, boosters, and ability items.

Earning, seasons, and prize pools

The competitive side is where real rewards come in. In Competitive Mode, the top 1,000 players on the leaderboard receive special prizes, and the higher the ranking, the larger the reward. Players can earn CRO by exchanging Vouchers won in Competitive Mode at a fixed rate, or by selling Blueprints and Businesses to other players through the in-game Marketplace. In-game progress is tied to a player's non-custodial wallet address rather than to any single NFT, so building history stays with the account.

The prize pools have grown season over season. The Season 2 competitive calendar carried a total prize pool worth more than 500,000 USD. Season 3, titled Fractured Fate, launched with a starting prize pool of over 750,000 USD spread across 12 events, alongside new mechanics, quests, guild systems, and a world expansion. Earlier events set the pace too, including a World Series II run with a 250,000 USD prize pool.

What is coming next

The mobile launch slots into a wider roadmap for the franchise. The studio has teased a new event called Malware Maelstrom on the way, extending the game's ongoing story between the Loaded Lions and the Dark Lions. Longer term, the team is building out a guild system tied to its LION token, a quests and exploration system, and an early prototype for AI-powered non-player characters that would enable interactive dialogue and situational behavior.

The LION token sits at the center of that expansion. Loaded Lions has outlined plans for staking tiers, exchange listings, buyback events, and deeper integration between LION and Mane City, positioning the game as the flagship of a broader web3 entertainment ecosystem that also spans NFTs, apparel, and Crypto.com card benefits. With the game now in players' pockets, the studio's stated goal is to broaden its reach beyond web3 natives and onboard its next million users through a mobile-first audience.
