Here's all you need to know about the first acquisition by Limit Break

Limit Break, the company behind the DigiDaigaku NFT, is in talks to acquire FreeNFT, a Web3 platform that distributes free digital collectibles, in a deal expected to close this month.

Founded in 2021, Limit Break is a blockchain gaming firm that focuses on free-to-own online gaming. With this acquisition, the company is set to grow the NFT ecosystem, bringing Web3 into a new era. More collectors will have access to free NFTs, and developers will receive a promotional tool to launch free virtual collectibles. 

According to Limit Break, NFT is a tool for creators to engage and connect with their audiences. With that, the company is offering free distribution and promotion of NFTs to grow and expand the Web3 space. This will allow Web3 developers to reach a wider audience while showcasing their creativity.

FreeNFT is a Web3 startup founded in late 2022 by Silicon Valley entrepreneurs Igor Lenterman, Lucas Lenterman, and Harvey Pratt. The company specializes in promoting NFTs to build community, as well as spotlights Web3 gaming and NFT projects to its vast community of followers. By creating custom whitelists and performing deep analytics on registrants, the platform limits non-human participants or bots to ensure audience integrity for Web3 mints.

Limit Break made a massive NFT giveaway last month by dropping 10,000 free NFTs via the Super Bowl commercial. This has brought the free NFT model to the masses and pushed the DigiDaigaku collection to the forefront. Given the positive response, Limit Break will continue supporting creators by providing a platform to give their NFTs away for free. This will help eliminate risk factors and raise awareness of NFTs.
