The developers of Legends of Elysium, a free-to-play blockchain title that combines trading card and board game elements, have announced an “ultimate” update to the Alpha Testnet version of the game.
This new update brings an overhaul to existing smart contract infrastructure while deploying new smart contracts in an effort to provide a better gameplay experience. As a result, a host of improvements and bug fixes have been made to not only enhance the experience for current gamers, but also provide an accessible way for traditional gamers to jump in. This means that with this update, players can login using their email, as well as straight through a Google account.
In the update notes it’s mentioned that the bot’s core has been revamped, which means that not only has performance been improved, but various bugs, such as cards flying off the screen, have also been fixed. The quest system has also undergone changes, with quests now having ticker name additions, while quest rewards in Elytronite now reflect hero level. Completing daily quests also gives you a chance of randomly receiving LOE rewards.
New asset types have been added to the marketplace, and so have dynamic testLOE prices, letting you see store asset prices change in real time.
As a result of these and various other changes, the latest version does not support previously minted on-chain assets. You can check out the full patch notes here.
