Last Remains Gets Official Trailer & Gameplay Introduction Ahead of Free NFT Character Mint

Earn Alliance has published an official trailer for their upcoming free-to-play stealth zombie battle royale, Last Remains. A couple of days later, they also released another, meant to serve as a gameplay introduction to the Web3 title, ahead of the free NFT character mint that is split into 3 rounds, with the first starting for users with a whitelisted badge on April 20th at 1 PM UTC.

The trailer features in-game pre-alpha footage, with the player stealthily exploring environments during the night and taking down zombies from behind. We also get a glimpse at a huge abomination, with the end of the footage revealing that alpha testing for NFT holders is set to being this Q2 2023.

A few days shortly after revealing this short footage that gives us a glimpse at the kind of third-person survival gameplay we can expect to experience, the developers followed it up with a gameplay introduction video, teaching us the objective of the game as well as the core gameplay mechanics at play as we attempt to survive the zombie apocalypse.

In this battle royale, described in the below video as the “first AAA Web3 zombie battle royale” players will get to enjoy stealth-focused multiplayer survival action while exploring a zombie-infested city and fighting not only the infected but also each other in the process. The goal is to be one of the first 3 to reach an extraction point before others in order to win, scavenging for various resources and avoiding facing any zombies head on throughout a match. This means you’ll have to survive long enough for this point to appear, which you’ll have to find in a part of the map marked by a shrinking circle. Next to zombies, you’ll also have to worry about hunger and thirst levels, making food and water a necessary component of each match. With the game’s parkour system, you’ll be able to enjoy dynamic movement that allows you to jump and climb up various structures that could lead you to finding hidden areas.

A total of 8888 Character NFTs come with the official mint scheduled to take place in 3 rounds on the Polygon network. The first round is reserved for those with a WL Badge and will take place on April 20th at 1 PM UTC, followed by round 2 on April 24th for Zombie WL spot holders, and finally, round 3, an open mint with a limited amount of remaining NFTs set to happen April 27th.
