Katana Inu, a play-to-earn third-person battle royale, is getting updated to v1.0.1, with the latest version set to bring a myriad of improvements and new features in order to provide an enhanced gaming experience.
The upcoming update is said to bring enhancements to various systems while adding new VFX traces to weapons, a new UI design, new sounds, and gameplay improvements. These enhanced systems include the friends/party system, in-game chat functionality, and custom tournaments. With this update, players will be able to team up and communicate during battles while competing in exciting custom tournaments.
The game’s tutorial is getting overhauled with new features, among which is a time counter, with a global scoreboard popping up at the end of the tutorial to show the fastest players to have completed the tutorial.
The team vs. team level has been redesigned to provide a more challenging and exciting battlefield, while a new UI design is also in the works in an effort to create a user-friendly interface.
When it comes to gameplay, the developers have improved the melee combat system while adding new combo animations, new unique abilities, teammate nameplates to make it easier to find players on your side, and more.
A specific release date for the new version of the game does not seem to be available at the time of writing. In the update post however, the team states that in order for the community to get the “most out of this update,” they’ve set up an “extensive month-long campaign” that consists various activities, AMAs, exclusive sneak peeks, and opportunities win prizes that include $KATA token drops, in-game NFTs, and more.
