Guild of Guardian, a mobile Ethereum RPG game made by Immutable, will launch in May this year. The game is a crypto role-playing game made for iOS and Android. The company made an official announcement on Tuesday that the game will finally be out on May 15 globally.
Moreover, the game will be available across the iOS App Store and Google’s Android Play Store. It will run on Immutable zkEVM, an Ethereum scaling network and there is a free-to-play crypto quest that will allow players to participate in fantasy adventures and battle against powerful bosses.
Not to mention, the game has already received over a million pre-registrations in the run-up to its release. Before the launch, Guild of Gaudian is also releasing an on-chain crafting system called ‘Altar of Sacrifice’ on March 25. It will facilitate the collection and combination of NFTs to gain new rewards in the game.
The first ‘Altar Event’ will take place on March 25 and is named ‘ Eri’s Grand Opening.’ It will allow players to get ‘Sacrifce,’ a special NFT, in exchange for in-game characters.
The Chief Studio Officer at Immutable Games, Justin Hulog, said, “These two additions make the first playable Web3 features in Guild of Guardians and we couldn’t be more excited about the progress we’ve made on the game today.” He further added, “The ability to ‘Sacrifice’ Player NFTs to mint new Guardian NFTs opens unlimited possibilities and adds a completely new level of strategy and competition to the game.”
Immutable Games restarted the development of the Guild of Guardians last year in association with Mineloader. Mineloader is a veteran support studio and has partnered with the development of major games such as Resident Evil Village, The Last of Us Part 1, and more.
Immutable Games Vice President and Guild of Guardians game director Chris Clay said, “It has been a whirlwind since we rebooted Guild of Guardians with Mineloader.” He also said, “We know that we only have one chance to make a first impression, and we want to give the Guild of Guardians community the game they deserve after patiently waiting these past three years.”
