Web3 chess platform Immortal Game has announced that they have officially partnered with French music duo Polo & Pan to launch an exclusive NFT collection featuring stylish chess pieces resembling musical objects.
The minting for this collection, which, according to the official whitepaper for it, is named Polo & Pan Immortals: Season 1, is set to commence this Friday, with a countdown timer ticking off on the official website. Before the mint starts, anyone can still sign up for the whitelist by creating an account and connecting their wallet in order to have a chance at getting their own Chess Piece NFT from this exclusive collection. If you don’t sign up, you can’t participate and will instead have to wait for a “Last Chance” sale if any pieces remain, according to the FAQ. Some of the most active players on the play-and-earn chess platform will be the first ones to get access to the mint.
The collection consists of a total of 500 NFTs contained in 500 Mystery Boxes, 400 of which are labeled as Standard (Rough) Mystery Boxes and are priced at $39, while the other 100 are Premium (Polished) Mystery Boxes that will be sold at $399. Once you have minted a Mystery Box, you are free to open it and see which piece you got.
Depending on which type you own, there will be a variety of cool things you’ll gain access to, including the option to play with the piece you own while utilizing custom in-game customization; access to all Polo & Pan tournaments, Spotify playlists curated by the music artists, and more. Holders will gain access to the NFT utilities starting from Q3 this year.
