Illuvium and Immutable have teamed up to kick off the Trading Rewards Spotlight, which incentivizes users to trade Illuvium: Beyond NFTs on any marketplace in order to earn $IMX tokens.
The $IMX Trading Rewards Spotlight is an event in which Immutable collaborates with an NFT project in order to encourage trading activity of the latter’s assets by rewarding users with the former’s tokens. In this case, they’re doing a Partner Spotlight for Illuvium: Beyond, which they describe as being a special edition of Trading Rewards where they reward their community by showing support to one of their partners.
It’s been clarified that the tokens are issued by Digital Worlds NFTS Limited, with Immutable acting as an “independent service provider” to Digital Worlds.
For this special edition of the program that is set to run for an unspecified limited time, you are able to trade any Illuvium: Beyond NFTs, which include Illuvitars, Illuvitars Accessories, and D1SKS. They can be traded on any marketplace, with a reward pool of up to 58k $IMX available every day. By trading NFTs worth that are worth up to $5000, you collect a certain number of points that are converted to a specific amount of IMX. If you trade more than $5000 per wallet, you won’t get any extra points, with every wallet able to earn a total of 64,990 points per day. This means that in theory, you could earn a minimum of 206 $IMX tokens per day, as the reward tiers state that 1 point is worth 0.00317 $IMX. 206 tokens are equal to about $105 at the time of writing.
The amount of points you get varies depending on the value of the NFT bought or sold. If you traded an NFT in the range of $10 - $1000, you’ll get 1 point for each $1 over $10, while trading an NFT worth between $4000 - $5000 will reward you with 14,990 points plus 50 points for every $1 over $4000. It seems that NFTs bought or sold in the range of $0 - $10 is not rewarded with any points.
But if you’re more interested in developing blockchain games than trading, then here’s why you should launch your NFT game on Immutable X.
