Illuvium has officially launched its Open Beta Testnet, inviting players to dive into its expansive universe. This open beta brings several updates and improvements based on user feedback from Private Beta 4. Anyone can now explore the game and earn a share of 20,000 $ILV (worth around $1.7 million) through gameplay.
Play-to-Airdrop in Illuvium
Illuvium's private beta airdrop campaign continues into this phase, offering different ways to earn points. Your playtime and in-game achievements will contribute to your airdrop points. Every hour of playtime earns you 100 points, and there are bonuses for capturing or fusing Illuvials. Completing a set for each tier of Illuvials gives out even more, with Tier 5 up to 15,000 points.
Transparency in Earning Points
The game has included a points dashboard, which allows you to monitor your progress in real-time. Your airdrop allocation will be calculated based on your points relative to the total earned by all players. This ensures a fair distribution of the token airdrop.
AFK Filtering and Fair Play
To maintain fairness, the team has included AFK filtering. Any inactive time of more than 15 minutes in Overworld will not count toward your playtime points. A similar system will be applied in Illuvium Zero, with specific criteria based on player data.
Future Updates and Rewards
The Open Beta Testnet also hints at future updates. Part 2 of the campaign will include new ways to earn points through collecting Weapons, Suits, and Drone Attachments. More info on this will be released later.
