What is the Donkeyverse (DKV)?

DKV is an established NFT project on the Solana blockchain featuring adorable anthropomorphised cartoon donkeys. Holders of DKV NFTs can receive rewards of our utility token (DKV) through playing the Idle Donkeys play-to-earn tycoon-loop idle game, which launched August 1st 2026.

Idle Donkeys is a tycoon-loop P2E idle game that can be played for free by holders and non-holders alike. Holding DKV NFTs also unlocks the ability for players to be rewarded in DKV SPL tokens that can be used both in-game and across the other parts of the Donkeyverse ecosystem.

Idle Donkeys is a world first in its class of game. Dodgy donkeys manage a variety of suspiciously profitable farms to build an equine agricultural empire. DKV NFTs are used as powerful in-game assets that can be upgraded permanently on the blockchain to give in-game performance bonuses. Players using NFTs are rewarded both for their investment in purchasing DKV NFTs and also the time spent playing the game.

This is done with an earnings cap that increases with the number of NFTs being used in the game (up to 14 in one game) and the number of times players complete the game loop.

The game combines the classic clicker idle game style with strategic elements in both game play and in the upgrading of NFT traits to customise in-game performance.
