Skrice Studios has officially announced the start of Season 1 of the Pioneer Airdrop Program for their mobile blockchain base builder, Heroes of Mavia.
The Pioneer Airdrop Program is a seasonal airdrop system through which players will have an opportunity to earn $MAVIA, Legendary Items, Ruby, and more by completing various “Quests”, with the token set to officially launch during this month. These Quests are said to include “social engagement, gameplay and competitions, Ruby marketplace trading and more!”
For the first season, the focus will completely be on rewarding the upcoming $MAVIA token as an airdrop. According to the announcement, only Land holders and Land stakers from Season 2, 3, and 4 are able to participate in this season.
The studio has allocated 2% of the $MAVIA token supply for this season, with an added 1% said to be reserved for CEX exchange-related airdrop as a result of the token launch that is soon set to take place. This means that 3% of the total supply is set to be used specifically for airdrops during this TGE event, with the initial circulating supply at TGE set to 10% or 25 million $MAVIA tokens. This means that the allocated 3% is 30% of the initial circulating supply. It’s further clarified that new Land holders who have not staked their asset will still qualify for an airdrop, with rewards set to be calculated closer to TGE. A very important note is that everyone who is eligible for airdrop tokens should claim them as soon as possible, because if they’re not claimed within 14 days of TGE, your tokens will end up going to the treasury instead. The number of tokens you could get depends on the rarity of your asset as well as on the quantity of Land NFTs that you own.
The official TGE date is planned to soon be announced, while the Season 1 Pioneer Program portal could potentially go live this week. Eligible participants will be able to claim their airdrop by connecting their wallet on the game’s official website in order to see if you have any pending rewards waiting to be claimed. Claiming will require having enough ETH for gas fees, with the team stating that they have “optimized the smart contracts to reduce this gas fee as much as possible.”
Last month, an official gameplay release trailer for Heroes of Mavia was published ahead of the game’s planned January 2024 launch.
