Web3 game developer Galaxy Lab has announced an exclusive UGC campaign for their blockchain space shooter Haunted Space, giving select participants an opportunity to earn more than $100k+ in rewards ahead of an upcoming TGE.
Haunted Space’s exclusive UGC campaign is an opportunity for long-term supporters, content creators, and KOLs to earn more than $100k in rewards by being chosen to promote the Avalanche-powered title on Twitter/X.
The official X announcement contains a link to the application form, and while we don’t know the exact number of participants that will be chosen, the post states that only “a small amount” will be picked by the team to create and earn from this campaign. The Typeform application process asks anyone interested to simply fill in their Telegram username and link their X profile to enter for a chance at participating.
The rewards are said to be valued by more than $100k, but the exact prizes in question do not seem to have been revealed at the time of writing. Anyone who does get chosen will earn by creating and posting content on social media, which in this case seems to particularly be X, based on the embedded video. The goal of course is to have your posts generate plenty of engagement, as the higher the engagement on your content is, the more rewards you are likely to get.
It’s not stated when rewards are set to be distributed, but perhaps some of it could very well likely be allocated as a token airdrop before the studio’s upcoming TGE.
The TGE for Haunted Space’s $GAGA token is set to go live on Thursday, May 29. Aside from the day, details on the exact timing during that day were not revealed in the announcement post.
$GAGA is not just the core token for the Haunted Space games, but also for Galaxy Lab’s AI tools and their entire web3 gaming ecosystem. It will be used to make payments either directly or indirectly for all their games and AI tools, such as for buying hard currency Haunted Bucks (H-Bucks), which will be used for purchasing consumables, NFTs, and more. Holders will also be able to stake on the company’s own staking platform to unlock non-inflationary perks that look set to include exclusive events, in-game discounts, limited edition skins and NFTs, a creator program, random revenue airdrops from all ecosystem games, and more.
Before the token goes live though, you actually have a chance to play to airdrop until May 28 by playing the Haunted Space Minigame on Telegram. The TGE Minigame Season kicked off on May 16 and gives players a chance at not only winning an airdrop allocation, but also a whitelist spot for an upcoming “premium” sale.
This Telegram game is an action-packed top-down shooter, a sci-fi take on Vampire Survivors, where the goal is to survive as long as you can while racking up the highest score possible in a single attempt to top the leaderboard. Before the start of an attempt, you can choose from a variety of different spaceships that each have their own strengths and weaknesses. After confirming your selection, you get to choose the level you’d like to play in, of which there only seem to be 2 as of writing, with more potentially on the way. As you destroy loads of enemies flying at you, you get to collect coins across the map and level up to unlock a variety of useful upgrades. Each level up lets you choose 3 different upgrades, which can include new weapons such as an ultrasonic field or an additional autocannon, as well as modifications such as an increase in health or weapon damage, decreased weapon cooldown, and so on.
While attempting to get the highest score through gameplay, you also get to collect coins and complete various social tasks, including inviting friends for more coins. These same coins can be collected through gameplay and will also be rewarded to the top 1000 players with the highest scores on the leaderboard.
Haunted Space is coming to PlayStation and Xbox at some point in the future. It also looks set to go live on Windows and Mac through the Epic Games Store. According to the roadmap, an augmented staking platform and public multiplayer alpha are set to release after TGE has taken place.
