Developer Mineloader and Immutable have announced that Season 3 of Guild of Guardians is set to launch on October 8, revealing new additions and goodies to play to earn.
What Is Guild of Guardians (GoG)?
Guild of Guardians (GoG) is a mobile idle RPG set in a fantasy world where players assemble teams of heroes called Guardians to explore dungeons, defeat enemies, and collect resources. Developed by Mineloader and published by Immutable, GoG combines cooperative and competitive gameplay with on-chain digital ownership, allowing players to play and earn, trade, and own in-game assets.
The game is designed for both casual players and competitive strategists, featuring fast-paced idle combat, hero management, crafting, and team-based dungeon raids. Players form guilds, collaborate in multiplayer events, and climb leaderboards to earn seasonal rewards. The web3 RPG essentially blends traditional F2P mechanics with the ability to trade certain in-game assets through blockchain systems.
Built on Immutable zkEVM, the accessible game can be played entirely for free, while those who wish to interact with its digital asset layer can do so through optional blockchain features. GoG’s appeal lies in this balance, allowing anyone to play without needing a wallet while still rewarding active participation through seasonal content and competitive ranking systems.
What’s New in GoG Season 3: All Hallows Eve?
Season 3: All Hallows Eve launches on October 8, bringing a dark and festive atmosphere to the world of Elderym. With Halloween approaching, this update introduces a combination of limited-time rewards, exclusive cosmetics, and one of the most powerful Guardians yet: Kuro.
Kuro stands at the center of this seasonal update as a Shadow Guardian focused on survival and protection. Known for his exceptional resilience, Kuro’s abilities revolve around sustaining himself and his allies in battle. His skillset allows him to negate fatal damage and shield teammates, making him an essential pick for challenging content that rewards sustained strategy over quick bursts of offense.
Players can obtain Kuro through the Summoning Stone banner or by purchasing him with Rubies. Once unlocked, Kuro can be enhanced using special Ascension and Radiance resources. These resources are available in the new Halloween-themed bundles that offer players a cost-effective way to fully ascend him. His Guardian Ascension cost curve is exclusive and permanent, ensuring his value and utility will remain relevant throughout future updates.
Specifically, Kuro features the following 4 skills: Growth (Passive), Power of Feathering, Rapid Hemostasis, and Light’s Guardian (ULT), with each ability having at least 4 levels.
Growth is a passive skill that provides 1 stack of Feather Protection every 15 seconds, growing once while increasing size and maximum HP by 5%. It’s stackable and cannot be dispelled, and reaching 2 stacks of Growth with its exclusive gear provides immunity to knockback and launch effects. The trigger interval of 15 seconds can be lowered to 13, 11, 9, and 7 seconds by going up to level 5.
Power of Feathering is used to taunt nearby enemies while offering 40% damage reflection and 40 energy per second for 6 seconds. Kuro cannot die when this skill is active and damage reflection can even be upgraded by up to 100% by reaching level 5.
Rapid Hemostasis heals your weakest ally with 10% of Kuro’s maximum HP while adding Feather Protection, which is said to restore 0.5% of Kuro’s maximum HP per second for 30 seconds. The Feather Protection effect can stack, and up to 30% of Kuro’s total HP can be used to restore health to the weakest ally by getting the skill up to level 5.
Light’s Guardian a shield that makes Kuro immune to all damage for 4 seconds, and once that shield expires, all the damage absorbed by it is sent towards surrounding enemies as true damage, “with a maximum cap equal to Kuro’s maximum HP,” according to the official skillset table image from the announcement post. This skill can be upgraded up to level 4, increasing the duration of the shield by up to 7 seconds.
As for Kuro’s Guardian Ascension cost curve, which is exclusive and permanent, this is how it looks like:
| Mints | Kuro Min Cost | Kuro Max Cost |
| 0.00 | 10 | 10 |
| 10.00 | 10 | 60 |
| 100.00 | 60 | 100 |
| 1,000.00 | 100 | 140 |
| 10,000.00 | 140 | 160 |
| 100,000.00 | 160 | 180 |
| 1,000,000.00 | 180 | 200 |
| 10,000,000.00 | 200 | 200 |
Seasonal Bundles and Returning Guardians
Alongside Kuro’s introduction, the legendary Guardian Salve returns through the Calling Crystal banner, giving players another chance to summon this character. The season also adds exclusive Halloween bundles filled with Ascension and Radiance items to help strengthen your roster.
To match the holiday spirit, two existing Guardians, Lisca and Kai, are receiving limited-time Halloween skins. These cosmetics are obtainable through seasonal passes, letting players personalize their characters for the duration of the event.
Valor Season 3 Progression Track
Season 3 also continues the game’s evolving Valor system. The new 50-level progression track offers stat boosts and cosmetic rewards for veteran players who reach the end of the ladder. Those who make it to the final tier can earn exclusive titles and profile frames that showcase their dedication.
This Valor track provides ongoing incentives for max-level players to continue engaging with daily and weekly objectives, ensuring that even long-time participants have reasons to log in regularly.
Competitive Halloween Challenges
Competitive gameplay is also getting an upgrade this season. Three key game modes: Arena, Endless, and the 15v15 Guild Battle, are now said to include seasonal leaderboards tied to the Halloween event. The top-ranked player in each mode will receive a one-of-a-kind Halloween-themed profile frame that cannot be earned elsewhere.
Each of these modes rewards different styles of play:
- Arena emphasizes 1v1 tactical combat, testing how well you can build and control your team in duels against other players.
- Endless focuses on endurance-based challenges, pushing teams to survive increasingly difficult waves of enemies for as long as possible.
- 15v15 Guild Battles highlight cooperation and coordination, as guild members combine forces in large-scale fights to claim seasonal dominance.
The inclusion of unique frames for each leaderboard winner adds a layer of prestige to this event, giving elite players visual recognition across the game.
If you like Halloween taking over the game throughout this season, then here’s how you can get ready to play to earn in this upcoming spooky competitive period.
How to Play to Earn in GoG Season 3: All Hallows Eve
Guild of Guardians is designed to reward player skill, activity, and in-game achievements, and lets players engage with both free and optional blockchain-linked features to earn crypto rewards.
During Season 3: All Hallows Eve, prizes are distributed through seasonal leaderboards for each game mode, as well as through the Valor progression track.
Climbing the Valor progression track remains one of the most direct ways to earn rewards. Players can complete daily missions, weekly challenges, and seasonal goals to gain Valor experience. Each level provides valuable in-game resources, with milestone tiers unlocking special cosmetics, resource packs, and boosts that can be used to power up Guardians.
While most of these rewards are in-game, top-ranking players in seasonal leaderboards may also earn tradable digital assets, depending on the event’s structure.
The Arena and Endless modes are some of the most active ways to compete for seasonal bonuses. Players who consistently perform well in these modes can earn high-tier chests containing crafting materials, Ascension items, or event-specific cosmetics. The Halloween season introduces themed items to these pools, giving even more incentive to participate.
High-ranking positions on these leaderboards grant greater quantities of premium rewards. The one-of-a-kind Halloween frames for top players serve both as collectibles and status symbols that should persist into future seasons. Exact reward distribution details do not seem to have been revealed at the time of writing, but it won’t be long until we all find out once the season officially gets going.

Participating in 15v15 guild battles can grant shared resources and items that benefit all members. These collaborative events often reward consistent participation and coordination rather than individual performance, making them ideal for players who prefer cooperative gameplay. Guild members can also benefit from collective buffs, improving the yield of materials gathered through dungeon raids and other cooperative activities. The more active a guild is during a season, the better its collective outcome in terms of resources and recognition.
Guild of Guardians remains free to play and does not require any blockchain interaction to enjoy its content. Players can simply download the mobile game on Android or iOS through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store respectively, participate in events, and earn rewards without connecting a wallet. For those who want to trade or hold assets, Immutable Passport provides an optional system to manage digital collectibles securely, so you'll want to use that to properly take part in this season.
Season 3: All Hallows Eve launches Wednesday, October 8, and does not have a specific end date at the time of writing. With Kuro’s debut, exclusive Halloween skins, Valor progression, and leaderboard competitions, it continues to build on the game’s foundation of skill-based progression and optional digital rewards. Whether you play to climb the ranks and collect seasonal cosmetics, or explore the story, this update delivers a variety of new content to keep players engaged throughout the fall season. If you’re completely new, it might be best to start playing Guild of Guardians now for free to get to grips with the game’s idle RPG mechanics before the season officially kicks off.
