Here's all about the collaboration between Mineloader x Guild of Guardians

Guild of Guardians (GoG), a much-anticipated mobile blockchain RPG, has signed a new development studio partner, Mineloader. According to the announcement, the latest partnership will help the team to ship the game in 2023.

Mineloader is a leading game developer that has worked on some of the biggest titles, including Final Fantasy XIV, Final Fantasy Remake, Biomutant, and The Last of Us. According to Justin Hulog, Chief Studio Officer at GoG, the team interviewed 23 prominent studios around the world before choosing Mineloader as the new partner.

"While we weren't on track before, we are now more confident that we will ship an incredible game on time," said Hulog in an open letter to the Guild of Guardians community. "At the end of our search, Mineloader rose to the top of the list, showing outstanding professionalism, a deep resume of prior experience and won our confidence in their ability to deliver against our timelines."

While the GoG leadership is utterly grateful to all of its employees and existing developer Stepico, Hulog said certain changes have to be made to ensure they release a quality game to players on time. Since joining GoG in March'22, Hulog has been running deep assessments of the game through multiple reviews of weekly builds, user experiences, and playtests.

"Unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations, and it became clear we had to make changes," said Hulog. "It was imperative that we made significant changes so that we can deliver a successful game. This meant searching for new partners and making changes to our team and systems."

Guild of Guardians is a mobile blockchain RPG developed by Stepico and published by Immutable. With Mineloader's expertise, the team hopes to deliver a AAA game filled with high-quality experiences and a sustainable Web3 economy. Guild of Guardians will also be released with Immutable Passport to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for the general RPG audience.
