In a recent development, The Gray Boys has opened up a new proxy marketplace to allow NFT borrowing from the Gray Boys DAO vault. However, users will need to install the proxy browser to use these rented NFTs. Also, this browser is only available for Windows and takes a minimum of 400MB of space on the system.
What’s more, users will be able to launch the Proxy browser when looking at rented NFT once the browser is installed. Also, it will provide temporary ownership of these NFTs and launch a custom Chrome browser. The custom browser will be composed of the proxy wallet as well. Enthusiasts can visit the Proxy Marketplace to check out what is available.
Additionally, the actual possession of the NFTs will remain in the Gray Boys vault. Therefore, selling, trading, moving, or any other kind of alteration in these NFTs will not be permitted. Basically, users will only get it as an artificial NFt and not the original possession. However, there are other benefits associated with it, such as access to early playtests, exclusive membership in Discord channels, or a gate to playing other games.
The owners of NFTs will be allowed to display their NFTs for rental. Although there is a one-time transaction fee per NFT collection and the list of rental collections is very short right now, it is expected that there will be more rentals once the back-end team is more developed. Also, this rental marketplace will give users access to a lot of NFTs.
The Gray Boys will provide proxy access to all the NFTs that the Gray Boys DAO owns. Besides, the Gray Boys themselves own 10,000 NFTs, and every Gray Boy owner will receive a membership in the Mothership DAO automatically. Not to mention, the DAO gains 30% from their initial mint sale and also gets a fee from secondary market sales. Enthusiasts can get the Gray Boys NFT at OpenSea and rent them at the Gray Boys Proxy marketplace.
