Developer GLHFERs has updated their on-chain RPG Gigaverse with the introduction of Giga Juice and a new refer to earn system.

What Is Giga Juice in Gigaverse?

Giga Juice is an important power-up that players can now use in Gigaverse to gain a variety of different benefits. These initial benefits are said to include an extra potion slot, faster energy regeneration, more energy (from 240 to 420), a chance for more upgrades, the option to save time in high intensity runs, and the ability to sprint. More perks are planned to be added over time, “especially when new features are added” to the blockchain title, according to the official X thread. It’s also noted that you may end up needing Giga Juice as an entry requirement for participating in certain competitions. Holders of ROM NFTs also get an added benefit that includes a 20% production bonus that lasts as long as the juice is active.

Players can get the new power-up using the in-game vending machine, which is also a new addition to this Abstract-powered web3 game. The vending machine is located in your spawn area when you enter the game. Simply press the E button once you’re near it to buy the new power-up.

You can purchase 4 different types of Giga Juices, with each varying in duration and the gifts provided: Juice Shot (0.004 ETH, 7 day duration), Juice Box (0.01 ETH, 30 day duration), Juice Carton (0.023 ETH, 90 day duration) and Juice Tank (0.038 ETH, 180 day duration).

The longer the duration, the more time there is to enjoy the power-up’s benefits. Purchasing a Juice Box, Juice Carton, or Juice Tank also comes with gifts that can be claimed after buying. Only the 7-day Juice Shot doesn’t include any extra item. The gifts specifically include a Red Party Hat for buying the Juice Box, a Pantheon Body when getting the Juice Box, and two special items for purchasing the Juice Tank: Pantheon Head, and a soulbound Gigus Shrine. You don’t need to buy all these power-ups to get all of the items though. For example, if you buy the Juice Box, you’ll get both the Pantheon Body but also the Red Party Hat that’s included in the lower-tier power-up. So, if you buy the Juice Box, you’ll get all of the gifts that come in lower tiers.

The gifts are only available until May 16th, so anyone interested in snagging these special items will want to make sure to drink their juice before that day to earn them.

How Does the Refer to Earn System Work in Gigaverse?

The new refer to earn system in Gigaverse lets players earn 10% from fees generated from new player signups and in-game purchases made by referrals. This means that by having new players join through your custom referral link, you will automatically receive 10% of their sign-up fee straight to your wallet. Whenever they buy something in-game, which for now includes only the new Giga Juice, you also get your cut of their purchase sent to your wallet.

While the current referral revenue share fee is set to 10% for the system’s launch, this percentage could end up changing as time goes on. You can get as many referrals as you want, with programmatic ETH rewards said to scale linearly, so the more players you onboard through your link, the more ETH you get to earn. You can track your earnings from referrals directly in-game by using the referrals tab.
