GAMEE has launched Gold Fest Season 2 with a starting prize pool of 1 million USD in nGRND Gold Protocol tokens, describing it as the largest reward pool ever offered on Telegram. The season opened on August 20, 2026, in the platform's tenth year on Telegram.
The pool has doubled from Season 1, rising from 500,000 USD to 1 million USD, with the studio stating there is potential for it to grow further during the season.
Gold Fest: The Game
The structural change this season is a dedicated title at the centre of the event. Gold Fest: The Game is a standalone digging, exploration, and progression experience built directly for TON Blockchain, replacing the Season 1 format where players moved between existing GAMEE titles to collect Gold Points.
Players join Nuggy, the golden nugget mascot of Gold Fest, on an underground adventure. The core rule is straightforward: the deeper players dig, the more rewards they can collect. Every session, achievement, and successful invitation raises a player's share of the prize pool.
The reward model was built to stay accessible rather than favour experienced players or high spenders. Participants do not need to arrive as skilled players and do not depend on the result of any single session. Progress accumulates over time through consistent play, digging further, and bringing friends in, which suits a Telegram audience where sessions are short and frequent rather than long and committed.
Season 1 set the benchmark the new season builds on. Nearly 550,000 players from 201 countries took part, playing 13.6 million games between them, which made it the largest reward event Telegram gaming had seen at the time.
Gold Backed Rewards and the Soulbound Token
nGRND Gold Protocol sponsors the season for the second time, supplying the gold backed rewards behind the pool. The protocol connects digital value with verified in ground gold assets, keeping the gold preserved underground as Preserved Gold while representing its value onchain.
That structure gives the reward pool a link to a physical commodity rather than a purely speculative token, while the claiming experience stays inside Telegram where the audience already is.
Claiming requires one additional step. Players need a GAMEE Dynamic Soulbound Token, or DSBT, obtained from the nGRND Gold Protocol Staking and Rewards Ecosystem. The token is custom branded, available at no cost, and lets players continue earning gold rewards from Season 2 beyond the game itself through participation activities. It is customisable and available through the dedicated nGRND page.
Soulbound tokens cannot be transferred or sold, which ties reward eligibility to the account that earned it and removes the option of trading a claim position to someone else.
nGRND Inc. operates as a land management and sustainability company supporting verified gold discovery and enabling monetisation by keeping the metal in the ground for property owners and investors. The company frames avoided mining as addressing the transition to a low carbon economy, with long term alternative land use creating monetisation opportunities measured through ESG and SDG impact initiatives. The protocol positions itself as bridging the legacy gold industry with the digital economy through participation driven rewards.
Inside GAMEE
GAMEE was founded in 2015 and is co owned by Alpha Compute Corp, listed on Nasdaq under ALP, and Animoca Brands. It operates as a high engagement mobile gaming platform focused on bringing a mass audience into web3, and it ranks among the largest gaming platforms on Telegram.
The scale numbers are substantial for the category. GAMEE counts more than 120 million registered users and has served over 10 billion gameplay sessions across multiple ecosystems.
Partnerships span both crypto and mainstream brands. The platform has worked with more than 40 major web3 communities including Mocaverse, TON, Notcoin, The Sandbox, and Cool Cats, alongside brands including NASA, Guinness World Records, and Manchester City Football Club.
Building Gold Fest: The Game for TON rather than as a general Telegram mini app matters for how rewards settle. TON is the chain natively integrated with Telegram, which keeps wallet interactions inside the messaging app rather than routing players out to an external interface, and that reduced friction is a large part of why Telegram gaming reached the scale it did.
GAMEE framed the launch as a statement of intent rather than a reaction to conditions, saying it shows no signs of stopping or market fears after ten years of building on Telegram. Gold Fest: The Game is live now through its dedicated Telegram channel, and the pool it feeds starts at 1 million USD.
