Gala Music partners with CatBird Music Festival

The Musical Partnership

In association with Live Nation, Gala Music has announced its proud partnership with Catbird Music Festival. This is to create amazing opportunities for talented artists by granting them the chance to perform on stage during the music festival. Gala Music had this partnership set up in line with their goal of rethinking the music industry, working with big stars, and a decentralized ecosystem to empower artists and fans.

Gala Music shared their excitement as this is a level-up move in their mission to reward emerging talents. The Catbird Music Festival will occur on the 18th and 19th of August at the historic site of the 1969 Woodstock Music and Art Fair in Bethel, New York. The Music Festival promises to blend Indie, Country, and Folk music. 

The Selection Process

To participate fully and seize this exciting opportunity, bands, and artists are to submit an original song video. Submissions will begin on the 19th of July and end on the 24th of the same month. Moving on, the fans would play a vital role in the selection process, beginning on the 25th of July. These fans would vote for their favorite top three artists or bands. Finally, these winners would then proceed to grace the Catbird Stage. 

The artist with the highest fan votes will also be awarded a coveted spot on the Catbird Music Festival lineup. With this spot secured, the artist would perform for tens of thousands of attendees. However, the team has yet to release the complete terms and conditions and promised to make this information available to the public on the 19th of July.
