Gala Games to Launch Weekly Leaderboard Rewards in Dragon Strike: Puzzle RPG

Soon, you'll get to compete for $GALA rewards in Dragon Strike

Gala Games, a leading Web3 gaming platform, is launching a new leaderboard system in Dragon Strike: Puzzle RPG, allowing skilled players to earn $GALA. 

The exciting move is part of Gala Games' efforts to expand its Web3 offering following the acquisition of Ember Entertainment. From July 6th, players can compete for glory with their NFT Heroes in various events and climb the Gala Leaderboard. Battles from Arena, Dragon Strike, Tournament, and Dragonspire Tower are among those that count for ranking. The more battles you win with your NFT Heroes, the higher your standing on the leaderboard. 

A new leaderboard will be issued every week, allowing newcomers to join the competition. It should be noted that only NFT Heroes can earn points. Those who want to compete on this front must always keep their on-chain Heroes on the team. The more NFTs they use, the more points they'll earn for each battle won. 

Notably, the top 200 players will be eligible for $GALA, the amount of which will be determined by their final rankings. It is unknown how many tokens will be given out. However, this should be revealed shortly after the leaderboard is made public.

Made by Ember Entertainment, Dragon Strike is a mobile match-3 game where users assemble a team of 5 to match off against monsters and players. Users can also build cities and empires within the game, which features over 100 Heroes to unlock. Following its pivot to Web3, Dragon Strike now allows users to mint their max-level Heroes as NFTs, redefining player ownership via on-chain gaming.
